Adam tweets:
"There I Said It" is emotionally very real for me. I have spent my whole life standing up for myself and speaking my mind.
"There I Said It" is on repeat, for me, because it is a Freedom Anthem. Never felt, for me, like "just" a break up song. (There is no romance in the lyrics.) Felt like declaration to oppressive outside opinion that one would no longer narrow oneself for approval.
Thank you, 4Ms, for gathering those Twitter Party tweets. They were, dare it be said, going deep for Mr. Lambert. Especially for a Twitter Party.
Waving at seoulmate and adamrocks, with thanks for kind thoughts.
Awfully glad to see you back! Always appreciate your thoughtful comments!!!

Bruh I changed my mind The Original High is the best song on the album!!
LOL.. I was surprise you just realized it . I've been listening to the song on repeat in my car while driving this morning. The beats are crazy, IMO it's a club banger song.

Asya @asyaglam 8m8 minutes ago Then n Now.. Not too much has changed.. Is that a sheriff's badge on peewee Adam? I wonder what all the other pins are -- cracks me up. The pin on the right could be a comical cow with big eyes.

Winging in from the Way Back Machine to theorize - to those who might get a smile - that "These Boys" is a kind of FU about "Fever". "These Boys" has to be one of the most radio ready, monster hits ever. Imagine if Swifty or Perry had recorded it. Would be the only song playing on radio. (Of course, same could be said for ever track on TOH). Actually, that beat is so bulletproof, anyone could have autotune recorded it and be soaring. It's just splendidly commercial. While being a great song. "Fever" was a close to sure fire radio winner as any song could ever be. Gaga wrote it. Amazing beat. Built in PR. Except for that pronoun situation. And if Gaga and Adam hadn't been imbibing, maybe gender neutral would have seemed more progressive and embracing. And Fever would have had its day. And now, "These Boys". What a driving, thriving hit song. Yet, even in 2015, still must be a Bonus Track. But lyrics like "Listen to the radio and let it go" just, IMHO, scream: Look, I can do this radio shit better-er than anyone alive, and on key, actually singing with innovation. Just a theory. Of course, "These Boys" is about as likely as "Fever" to get played. (But gotta love "Go ahead and take a number!" What a lyric!) Fever is my Jam and any time I play it (everyday) in my car (and it's my ringtone) and someone new is with me and they hear it they always say "Is that a new song" or "what's that song I like it"

Since I am streaming GT in a loop pretty much all day long, and I was worried if those listens counted, I did a little research and found this from someone who says he is a Spotity sofewaRe developer in answer to a question from a concerned user. I did a little checking and he seems to work for Spotify. This answer is about a year old. QUESTION: If I play the same song over and over on Spotify, will all those plays/listens contribute to revenue for an artist or is there a maximum number of repeat plays permitted, per user, per day, that result in revenue for an artist? ANSWER: Mattias Petter Johansson, Developer @ Spotify. From a technical standpoint, we have no such max limit. There might be possibly be some in individual deals or some anti-spam measure to prevent intentional misuse, but I think it's safe to say that it's really good for an artist if you play their song on loop all day. Thanks for this great info.. I've been doing it, but it's nice to get confirmation that it's helpful.

Just got a chance to listen to the bonus tracks --- for a change, the best tracks are on the main album -- but the most interesting, odd tracks are bonus track. They way it is supposed to be vs. RCA's way of stuffing great tracks into Bonus Tracks!! ["Runnin'", "Voodoo", CLYG, DTRH, "Map"...and the natural last track for Trespassing, "Nirvana".] "These Boys" is so much like Justin Timberlake. 90's retro. Can't you just see the boys dancing in sync. "Shame" is a bit unusual -- makes me think about Katy Perry, performing in Japan, in a good way. "After Hours" very different, and I really find it strangely appealing. I find After Hours strangely appealing, too! it's so... so... I dunno.... smooth and sexy. Really like the production on this one! ETA: just listened to it again. I can TOTALLY see this song on a movie soundtrack. Just heard them. I LOVE "After Hours" and would totally have swapped it for something else on the main album-maybe THE LIGHT or THINGS I DIDN'T SAY? I like the two car songs the most, "After Hours" and "The Original High." There'a restlessness in the whole album. Only heard the album stream once and like "Lucy." Adam as a songwriter is still very close to his "Crawl Thru Fire" days. Just superior production this time, but the whole thing does feel cohesive and his voice is so elastic and unusual and great. "These Boys" lyrics are hilariously silly. Hahahaha
