Jessica Clark June 10, 2015, 4:55 pm Talking to Adam Lambert, it’s easy to see that he isn’t one to shy away from the truth. It’s something that his fans - known as Glamberts- love most about him, which is why he is always happy to share with them his thoughts, feelings and problems. "I feel like people aren’t stupid," he tells Yahoo7 Music. "I hate when I see that in the entertainment industry, when people take the public’s intelligence for granted. People know what’s up." Ever since he took the title of runner-up in the eighth season of talent show juggernaut American Idol in 2009, Lambert says he realised being 'real' was an important part of being famous. "From the get go, I kind of realised I can go about this one of two ways: I can be this persona that’s not actually authentic, or I could just make things easier on myself and just be myself," he says. The singer’s new album - The Original High, releasing on June 12 - is his first in three years, with Lambert describing it as a "much more honest" approach to making music. "It’s a different sound, for sure. In the production, in the sonics of it, and emotionally," he tells us. "It’s a bit less theatrical than I think things I’ve done in the past were. I really wanted to make music that really touched people and was really emotional." more..

So excited about the differentness (to my ear) of the new album, the seemingly well orchestrated roll out by Warner Brothers, Adam's unfailing charm, wit, intelligence and articulateness during each and every interview. And patience. Also amazed that he never falls into rote answers, even when describing the albums theme for the gazillionth time, for me, he always seems to find a fresh slant on it, a new way to explain it. Happy he is experiencing all this in such a variety of countries and with local encounters with fans, probably tiring but rewarding.
As everyone has mentioned, thrilled for him because I think this is what he wants, and IMO it is exactly what he deserves. Love and support and recognition for that magnificent "one in a billion" voice.
But just for old times sake, and because I spent an inordinate amount of time parked in front of my computer, loving every minute of the Queen and Adam Lambert tour, a little reminder of a lesson in master vocals, having fun on stage and owning the arena:
Dr. Brian may is very hot. Love to see Adam bringing a smile to his face. Plus I'm titillated by all the years of experience that go into his playing, the history he brings to the stage. So elated that Adam is a part of allowing he and Roger to see the results of their years of music in an arena full of people loving the experience so enhanced (IMO) by Adam's voice and interpretation. What a gift for all involved.
