I finally was able to listen to the TOH stream and to the iHeart stream of the bonus tracks!! I'm in love! Nothing I'd skip on this album. It might take me a minute to warm up completely to Rumors though...I love Tove Lo, but I want to hear more Adam on it. It seems he kind of took a back seat in the vocal mix on that one. I love how is voice is so up front on most of the songs though. Cool vibes in the music, so different from what we usually hear on the radio (as has been discussed, lol). Of the bonus tracks, I think After Hours would have fit on the main album sonically and lyrically. Wish it were longer. Shame and These boys are cute, catchy tunes that I think would certainly fit on pop radio, but they have a much different vibe from the rest of the album. I know people are hoping to hear Adam sing them in concert, but he has never performed a bonus track live, has he? (I want Take Back!!!) Anyway, this will keep me going until Tuesday when my CD arrives from Amazon and DH will be at meetings all afternoon. I know what I'll be doing! Uhmm, He opened Glam Nation Tour with a bonus track (Voodoo) and performed Down the Rabbit Hole as part of the opening medley. |

The timing of this is perfect for Adam. The total does not matter. What matters is the total plays for next week -- starting Monday.Starting Monday or do you mean Tuesday when the album drops? |

But I bought my first house this year; I have a business; I've done a lot for myself and I've done a lot for my career. And all of a sudden I'm realizing: "You know what? I'm a grown-ass man! I will not be talked to a certain way. I will not be treated a certain way." Having self-respect is part of that too. And I've had my ups and downs with that my whole life. ...I think it is a good interview with Adam giving us some more insight into the music and himself. Definitely one to click on. This was interesting also. "DETAILS: And was I correct in hearing you reference David Bowie in the song with that "Diamonds Dogs" shout-out? Adam Lambert: Oh yeah. There's a little nod to Bowie, for sure." This is a great interview... This is one of the most articulate comments about Idol I have seen anywhere! Adam Lambert: I think they had a great run and I'm very thankful for the show. It launched me and put me on the map. I don't think I would be where I'm at today without Idol. All good things come to an end. That's just how things are. The show came about at a time where the country really needed it. We just had 9/11 happen and simultaneously the music industry was not in a very good place either. And I think the show shook things up and brought people together. Families would literally gather around the television rooting for something, supporting the idea that dreams come true and that you can be from anywhere in the county and you can have a dream that does come true. It gave people hope and it brought people together. At the time, that's what we needed.
