I know this song came out a month ago, but this is actually the first Adam Lambert song I’ve ever heard (never been an Idol fan) and I heard it this week. Anyway, I’m reaching that point in my adulthood where I’ve decided that I don’t have “guilty pleasures” anymore, just “pleasures”—which means I have the last Decemberists and Taylor Swift album. So when I stumbled across this song I thought, “Hey, I like this and I’m not going to feel bad about it.” It’s a nice mix of rock and dance, has plenty of weird dead celebrity imagery, is maybe about feelings, and Lambert rocks out in a pretty sweet white outfit… on the Ellen show.
