Adam Lambert is dancing a little bit more. And almost without stumble.

You don´t need to be first in everything to be the best in something - Adam lambert is example of that. He is on the top of man pop-rock for some years and there is no wonder - when you are listening to the third album The Original High witch turned out well.
Adam Lambert – a guy from American Midwest - didn´t have it too easy at first. Everybody took him as the man who was “second in American Idol” (runner up), his first hit wasn´t actually even his (because it is Pink´s) and he is also gay, what was for some – and for some still is – problem.
But when you are gifted with great voice, you don´t have a cauliflower instead of brain and you know exactly what kind of style is perfect for you, you are winner.

Album The Original High is not so much different from his previous stuff. It is always glam pop-rock with strong vocal and modern production of Swedish monster-duo Max Martin & ShellBack but Lambert is not naive. He knows well that if he don´t give to the music something more here and there, he could lose his privileged position. And he did the best he could: he gives more dance elements which don´t sound cheesy or embarrassingly and it makes his songs go farther.
The first single Ghost Town was a little bit shock for fans because nobody had expected so “exotic” arrangement. Listening the album you will find that various house tricks accompany the songs for full length – be it the title song (The Original High), Thinks I didn´t say (huge candidate for hit), The Light or Another Lonely Night. But these songs are so well made that they could sound good even without help of the hashtag “dance”.
There is possible to find also elements of questionable quality. The song with guest Tove Lo is teasing to be north way seductive but the result of the cooperation turns to be just soulless pop song. Similarly ambitiously sounds for the first time song Lucy with Brian May from Queen, but in the end it seems to be a kind of grey. And to be honest – Lambert used to have a little bit better ballads then Underground or There I Said. But these small imperfections we are able to overlook thanks to well-done rest (of the album).
Lambert´s third album in row is here and there a little bit gradual and the vivacious singer is decelerated by that. Quicker, darker and soundly incomparably more interesting tracks are - on the contrary - what makes the new album stand beside the best what Adam Lambert.
