When I turned on Rdio about an hour ago (it was 8pm here) I had a notification waiting "More music from artists in your favorites is now on Rdio" - both the full album and the deluxe version, which I'm now listening to  " height="29" width="52"] . This is good advice because this isn't just 'a hockey game'. This is game six of the Stanley Cup Finals and the Chicago Blackhawks are up 3 games to 2 on the Tampa Bay Lightning, with the potential to win the cup tonight. If the cup is won tonight in Chicago, it will very likely run late. I live very near Chicago, and believe me, the city is going crazy about the Blackhawks and the NHL finals tonight. You can bet that if the Hawks win tonight and capture the Stanley Cup, there will be a delay for the Tonight Show due to all the sports coverage. I am SO excited to see Adam on Fallon tonight! Hope it all works out, even if the Tonight Show starts late. Oh, and GO HAWKS! Nothing can be as insane as it is in metro Cleveland for the Cavs. People slept in line overnight to get tickets to go to our arena (The Q, no kidding!) to be at a watch party when then played in California last night. And for the next home game, the arena tickets are long sold out but they are doing a watch party in Browns Stadium. It is expected to sell out. I have never, ever saw anything like the insanity here. That includes when the Flyers won the Stanley Cup and 2 million people were at the parade for the team. The most insane things is both of the star players -- one for each team playing -- Lebron James and Stephen Curry NBA Most Valuable Player Award, Winner (2015) -- were born in the same hospital in Akron, OH and now two weird things have happened. 1. It is a fan site. People are visiting and taking selfies. 2. Moms are coming here to have babies in hopes the magic will strike again. |

So I arranged for Amazon UK to deliver my parcel to my office address. It was a hard afternoon just having it sit there on my desk but my homeward commute was AMAZING!!!! Just loved blasting it out in my car - my favourites still TOH and The Light but no doubt that'll change after a few more listens. |

Not till midnight in the US and Canada. We are always last! But it isn't midnight here yet, so I wonder why. Israel's release date was 6.15.15. Like the UK and many other countries. The America's (including US and Canada) have a 6.16.15 release date. Japan is 6.17.15. |

Just dropping by to say I got an email a few mins ago from Amazon!! My CD is on the way!!! Hopefully it will get here tmw before we leave for our mini-vacation. Got new headphones so I can make the most of the 3 hour drive!! Also, I posted on Friday that I got an email from Newbury Comics, advising my ordered CD was shipping. I was hoping to hear from others who ordered from these folks, but all I heard was *crickets* in the midst of all the posts on streaming, etc. Has anyone else ordered from Newbury? Hoping I get what they advertised!!!  |
