Dying laughing, these poor folks don't understand Glambert economics.  Now that I have recovered from this joke. How much are they charging? Seriously: As the AOL Build show is an online-only show, the budget and underlying quality of the production can be rather poor. Sometimes the guest's microphones (or the interviewers) are set too high or too low, creating the feel an amateur operation, like a cable show in someone's basement. The audience is mostly a paid audience (yes, they pay people to watch this show) or full of AOL (or Huffington Post) employees that have been roped in to bolster up the crowd when they could not get enough people to come to the show, even if they are paid. The guest booker for this show has amazing skills, because this show consistently gets great guests even though they have very little viewership (when compared to ratings of its TV show cousins). The hosts have some journalistic skills, but are not very strong on camera and often make mistakes during the production (EG the infernal tittering of the host during the famous Chris D'elia interview after the Justin Bieber Roast) Going to see this show taped live is a fun thing to do for a couple of hours during the day, as you may see some interesting interviewees and get paid a few bucks. Forget telling anyone else that you went to see this show, because most people do not know that this show exists and certainly do not know where/when to even see it. I wonder why Adam didn't perform with his new band? Because it is not his new band -- it is a promo band. He is a solo artist. My guess is that he will put together a band and dancers after the album promo is over. |

Could someone please give me links to the iTunes charts? The ones I googled only go down to 100. I don't have a link, since I am looking at the iTunes app on my iPhone, but this is the overall U.S. album chart: James Taylor #13 Nate Reuss #51 (his album is only $7.99 for 12 songs -- why so cheap??) Adam (TOH Deluxe) #94 But it looks like Adam is moving up, so that is good.  Don't forget adam has three versions of the album, I believe they will all be combined for an overall count in the final polls. Does anyone know for certain? |

This may be the Captain Obvious response but if your screen is just shattered and not broken out you should still be able to use your phone. Get one of the peal and stick screen protectors from pretty much any store that sells phone supplies or you can even use clear tape. Good luck! Thanks, GracieJane! It's my iPad that I shattered. I'm on it right now (so damned addicted to this thing!) but will be shutting down shortly, because I can see glass slivers and don't want to start my short vacation with glass in my fingertips. I found a local tech who will come here tomorrow and pick it up from my sister (Jane!) who is house/Mom/brother sitting for us! It will be waiting for me when we get back. Hopefully, it will be sitting on the table with my Amazon CD and my signed CD from Marbury Comics!! What a great welcome home that will be!!!  . Have a fun and safe trip! |
