Adam looked beautiful and performed the song so good.... I thought that perhaps part of it the middle was (I hate to type it ) but perhaps he was not singing live...but whatever he was amazing as always.. Girl, turn in your Glambert membership card immediately. That singing was LIVE! But I know why you thought that. The singing sounded doubled up. Perhaps a backing track in addition to live, except that it was perfectly in sync. I don't know how the electronic/special effects mic stuff works. Could it be set to double up the voice? Yes, I believe that was the mike -- they can be set to repeat the vocal. It matched perfectly. I am watching it over. |

The other three artists on this list already sold a lot of albums on iTunes so they will get credit for the sales this week BUT the do not show up in the iTunes chart now. So if you pre-ordered TOH, it is not part of the #25 that Adam has. Hillary had no iTunes pre-sale that I could find. |

I don't usually watch The Tonight Show but Jimmy Fallon seemed really impressed with that performance. Is he usually like that? Jimmy Fallon is a very enthusiastic host. He almost has a child-like enthusiasm. He's a huge fan of everything and everyone. Some don't like that because it makes him seem disengenuous and a suck up but personally, I like it. It's more fun to watch a show if it seems like the host is having a good time. I don't know if he always is having a good time but he does a great job selling it. I do think mentioning the excitement back stage was a bit more personal. And he may have hugged Adam once more than he usually does. But to answer is he usually "like that?" More or less. He's usually on. And looks happy. That doesn't mean he wasn't genuinely impressed just that his reaction to Adam wasn't wildly different than it'd be for someone else. He's the opposite of Letterman. |

This is good because Adam had more places to make up! He started 40 behind Nate. And about Hilary, she had no presale, so all purchases are charting now  Adam's numbers are very good! Wouldn't all of Adam's presales chart when they are downloaded which would be tonight? I think the answer is yes if you mean the the Billboard chart but no if you mean the Itunes dynamic charts that we're watching at the moment. |
