It bothers me all the competitiveness that fans bring on, that their artist has to be number one. I hope James and Nate do really well too. I'm so glad that Adam finally has an amazing team that supports and takes care of him. He is already very blessed.

TOH at #23 on iTunes Canada now. Hilary Duff at #9 ..... Nate Ruess at #59.
Can't even find James Taylor in the top 200.

My CD from Amazon is scheduled to arrive later today. An mp3 copy is supposed to auto rip upon release of the mp3 version..... but it is not showing up in my account to download. Has anyone else ordered thru Amazon and gotten the auto rip already? I wanted to listen to my very own copy before falling asleep tonight. Cassie I just got my Amazon email to DL my deluxe copy. I already DL my iTunes one so should I wait till tomorrow to DL the Amazon one...does it matter? |

I don't usually watch The Tonight Show but Jimmy Fallon seemed really impressed with that performance. Is he usually like that? Jimmy Fallon is a very enthusiastic host. He almost has a child-like enthusiasm. He's a huge fan of everything and everyone. Some don't like that because it makes him seem disengenuous and a suck up but personally, I like it. It's more fun to watch a show if it seems like the host is having a good time. I don't know if he always is having a good time but he does a great job selling it. I do think mentioning the excitement back stage was a bit more personal. And he may have hugged Adam once more than he usually does. But to answer is he usually "like that?" More or less. He's usually on. And looks happy. That doesn't mean he wasn't genuinely impressed just that his reaction to Adam wasn't wildly different than it'd be for someone else. He's the opposite of Letterman. Excellent description, lethally floral! Perfectly on-point. I like the enthusiasm, too, but more of a sardonic Letterman type, except in later years when he was kind of doddering. Still, I think his enthusiasm was genuinely, and he def said "Finally!" suggesting that he got him on the show, which is very sweet, considering the influence Fallon has. The "childlike" quality is really apt, and it's a bit of a turnoff, but his musician imitations are amazing and I like how he knows how knows his music and comedy history (Triple Lindy, anyone  |

So these numbers don't really tell us too much, except that they are close and TOH is on the rise. In any case, Hillary is not a threat to Adam. It is Adam, James Taylor and Taylor Swift I think.
Perhaps we can get rid of all these Taylors!! Oh.. so much for that assessment.. I'm not much of a numbers person as you can tell, but glad that you all have sorted it out and figured out that TOH is doing well! Yes, wish T Swift would just step aside!! |
