Does anyone know if there is heavy promo going on in South Africa, or are South Africans simply innate Glamberts? noir @josirose
COOL @adamlambert Ghost Town is now #1 nationally in South Africa, inc all radio, iTunes etc. American Idol was very big in 2009 in South Africa. Adam has a very large fanbase there, has had consistent radio airplay in SA and has performed there. A number of Idols have a lot of fans there -- but Kelly Clarkson and Adam are the most popular.

Q3 You say on the first page that 1 “Ghost Town” stream = 1 album stream . I'm confused.. are you saying that if I listen to a GT stream once, that is equal to me listening to the entire album once??
I got up super early to stream the album on my phone via the Amazon link, but it's already been taken down, and the album is now available for sale on their site.
I'm streaming the 5 songs that are available from the album on my phone, but does anybody have the entire album on Spotify yet that I can follow? Also how do you find people to follow on Spotify on the phone? I know how to do it on my computer, but not on my phone.. I'm not on my own computer right now.

I switched over to rdio so that GT will continue to stream. I am using the free app so Spotify would stop overnight. At the moment I have both streaming.
Tomorrow I should be able to download my ITUNES purchase. I bought the physical CD from Amazon. I'll go to a store and pick one up also.
Where is the link to stream the album?

I am on hour #37 on Spotify Premium -- no issue, no interruption! Do you have the paid subscription? If not, how do you manage that? I have a free trial and a paid subscription --- yes you can have two accounts if you use different email and different devices. The PREMIUM SERVICE does not appear to stop. I have it running on WIFI on a phone.

OK, someone tell me what the most important thing is for me to do today for album sales. I'll be at work and can only do one thing! Open up as many of the following streaming services as you can (most of them are free, or have free trials), put Ghost Town on loop, and leave them there. You can turn down each volume to zero if you don't want to listen to it while working The services to open up (if they are available to you are):
- Spotify
- Rdio
- Beats Music
- Google Play
- Medianet
- Rhapsody
- Slacker
- Xbox Music
Just one minor note: ONLY THE ON DEMAND AUDIO SERVICES OF THESE PROVIDERS COUNT. They all have services that do not count. *** pi that headline had a typo in it!! I fixed it -- Starting today: 1 “Ghost Town” stream = 0.1 album stream and 1 single stream for Billboard! *** If you are in the UK Streaming counts there!! But play the whole album, not just GT, play the first 12 tracks evenly. Do not play the remixes. The services that count are similar, list on page 1. *** Streaming and YT do not count for the Canadian Charts.

Chris Azzopardi @chrisazzopardi 3m3 minutes ago My intv w @adamlambert on 'outlandish' past, lack of #LGBT artists & questions straight from YOU (the #Glamberts!) tinyurl.com/qjqukodAdam Lambert Reveals He Dressed 'Outlandishly' Because He Was 'Overcompensating,' Talks Lack Of Gay Artists'It Got To A Point Where I Was Hiding Behind It A Bit' BY CHRIS AZZOPARDI Originally printed 6/15/2015 (Issue 2324 - Between The Lines News) Stripped of that glossy sheen, those painted nails and the purple mane that he famously flaunted on his 2009 post-"American Idol" debut, "For Your Entertainment," Adam Lambert's latest album cover isn't even in color. His hair still reaches the same towering heights as his voice on "The Original High," but otherwise, he's unadorned. The glam is gone. In our recent interview, the 2006 "Idol" alum comes clean about how a long period of "overcompensation" - yes, the outfits - led him to the latest chapter in his life. People are calling "The Original High" a reinvention. Is that how you see it? It's not the most far off thing. I consider it more like a "reframing." I feel like it's still me at the heart of it. It's still my voice, but a little more grown up, and I feel like the sonic frame around the vocals is something new. Why tweak your sound? Because repeating myself would be sacrilege. I will not repeat myself. But I don't know - something new. I wanted to do something fresh, and I wanted to do something that sounded like my life, and this is the kind of music that I listen to. Do your famously passionate fans add pressure to the creative process? Because my fans are so loyal and loving, and they're so passionate about all the things that I do, I think that they recognize that if it's something I believe in that's exciting, they get excited by that. I always think about the fans, but with this album, more than ever, I've gone inward and wanted to make music that I have some integrity with, that meant something to me. read more.. www.pridesource.com/article.html?article=71915

Ghost Town has also been doing well in my country. It's #6 on the most popular local Top 40 radio station, and it's been on the Top 20 chart for 5 weeks. Also #14 album on iTunes! www.meradio.sg/musicportal/music_charts
