"Stars may be seen from the bottom of a deep well, when they cannot be discerned from the top of a mountain. So are many things learned in adversity which the prosperous man dreams not of." May you be out of the proverbial well soon. We miss you and have you and your family in in out thoughts.

Bamafan, First of all I have followed Dietcoke's and justwishing's wonderful updates avidly and was so relieved when finally somebody made contact with you. The love and concern on the board whilst we waited to hear from you, although carried out in cyberspace, was all very real, heartfelt and genuine. We were all gutted when we realised that you had been 'hit' and the extent of the damage you and your family had experienced, but then we were all elated and there was a collective huge sigh of relief when we knew you were all safe and alive. I personally cannot conceive of what you are going through. I have always known of the great and destructive tornadoes in the US, but this one was different - different because for the very first time, I actually 'knew' somebody who had been affected by one. It gave me a very different perspective to the normal 'watching it on the news'. I wish I could be of help in some way, but I know you are surrounded with love here at Atop and there are many who would willingly help you and are in a position to do so. Take care, stay strong and I look forward to seeing you back at Atop soon. Love and light from New Zealand

Hi Bamafan:
Because of your A-top name, your "silence" after the storm really had me worried! I was relieved when needacoke let us know you are safe, but what a challenge you and your DH are facing now. I hope that the disruption lessens each day, and that a year from now, you will see at least some good that has come from this difficult time.
And selfishly...I want to read your posts again! Guess I'm a lurkerfan of Bamafan!

You've been missed! Will be so good to have you back - but you'll have a lot of "work" to do, catching up... I guess it's been a relatively slow news time lately, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been a lot of talk - a 40 pager recently...
When you get your power/utilities back, the hardest part may be deciding whether the house or Adamtopia comes first - ha!
Wishing you speedy repairs and mild weather. xoxoxo

Bamafan, just saw that well-wishes were being delivered tomorrow and wanted to add mine too. I don't post much but wanted to express the light and love coming your way. I grew up in "tornado alley" and know first hand how scary and devastating they can be. So happy that you and yours were safe and hoping for a quick rebuild. I add my offer to the others that if there is anything we can do to help, let us know.

Bamafan, Sending you light and love and positive energy. I'm so sorry that you have had such a devastating event happen. From what I hear, you are dealing with it in a most amazing way and not letting it dampen your spirit. Adam recently said he likes strong smart women. I think he would admire you very much. I know I do. There are so many here who care about you and are wishing you well. You are part of this community, even if you've only met a fraction of us. We look forward to having you back here to your home away from home. All my best, NoAngel

Bamafan, We don't have much 'extreme' weather in the UK and I've never personally experienced it, so I can't begin to imagine what it must be like, having your home ripped apart. I can only add my love and hugs to the rest of Adamtopia's in the hopes that it might be of some help in the Aftermath. We're all waiting to see you back, smiling with Adam .

Bamafan, It's tough to rebuild everything material, but in the end it is just that - material. People are the most important thing there is, and that's what counts! And you have a huge crowd of them here thinking of you. Positive thoughts and ll the best to you and your family, hope everything turns out okay in the end.

Bamafan I have waited til almost the last skinny minute (because Needacoke is right, you are are a skinny, but wonderful, bitch!) to post my well wishes. The really bad thing about that is that there have been so many funny, clever, inspiring, heartfelt messages preceding my feeble attempt that this can only suffer by comparison! When I watched that monster crawling across Cullman on live TV, all I could do was pray, "Please keep Bamafan and her family safe." How thankful I was to hear that not only was my prayer answered, but that indomitable spirit of yours was and still is intact. You are indeed a special lady, a Steel Magnolia, with the drive and determination to set your world right again. You also have an amazing group of friends here who have been so supportive and loving. It excites me that you will get to hear from them today. And catch up on our beautiful, sexy Adam. I don't have the skills to embed all the pretty or the funny, but here is something I've wanted to give you since April 27... Love you, girl!
