Yesterday I had a very nice and surprising experience. I was hiking when suddenly my cell phone notified me of a text message. I checked it out - it was from my boss, on a Sunday! We usually message using an in-house IM system during the week, and I rarely get a text from him on a weekend. Expecting a work-related problem in need of a solution, I read the message.... Imagine my surprise when I read the following: "This song was playing on the radio and we loved it. My heart is a ghost town. And we looked it up and its Adam Lambert". He knows I am obsessed interested in Adam and wanted to share his regular listener experience.  He lives in LA, btw. It made my day! So sweet! |

No notice at all from My Play Direct about the bundle. Anyone else still waiting for an email to say their's has shipped? I have not received an email either and I am still waiting on some CDs from Amazon.com. I did receive a cd from Amazon.ca but gave that one away thinking my other Cds would be here last friday as stated. lol. Anyway I ordered another 3 copies from Amazon.ca and will likely order a few more next week just to add to the numbers. I am really looking forward to seeing that bundle. |

I think my favorites, in order, are: 1) There I Said It 2) The Original High 3) Another Lonely Night 4) Ghost Town But really, it is SO close and could change depending on my mood. LOL! When I'm driving in my car I find myself lately listening to Shame and These Boys on repeat. They are just so much fun to listen to....just full of dancey beats and fun lyrics. I have to sing along to "God knows I've been a very bad boy..You've been tellin me" and "A shame, a shame...It's a damn shame'! And "Who you think you're calling stupid, stupid?....These boys these boys can't slow me down...who you callin clown? I just feel happy listening to them. I know These Boys can be a anti bullying powering anthem and the beat makes me feel good and more powerful singing the words. These songs are for my less reflective more 'dance my a** off mood.lol Of course all the songs make me think, smile, sometimes cry deep in my heart, laugh, dance, and always always make me want to hear them on repeat. This album, to me, is an amazing piece of art. I love Shame too! Think it should have been in the main part of the album rather than the bonus section. |

I think the next single should be TOH. I thinks it's very radio-worthy and marketable. But I LOVE ALN so much! I would love it to be the third single. EITN is snaky and sexy and I love it, but I wonder it it's vibe is too much like TOH. I don't know. I haven't had time to listen to the album multiple times yet, and this week I'm out of town and just checking in here when I can. I just hope the album has some good strong singles yet to come. We want a tour next year!
BTW, did anyone else hear where that comment (from Adam?) came from about "when I tour, it will be with my own company." ??? Was that Adam? If that is true, that is great. Lower costs. If I've misread that comment, please let me know.
