HAC is OK, AC is moving up, Canada looking good but spins need to get going on US CHR. Strange 'cause it feels the momentum in the press etc. is building but radios not on board to really spin GT just now. New single? Feels too soon. Let's see what Billboard does today.

Yeah, feels too soon for a new single. I don't think GT has gotten high enough for it to really have opened any radio doors for a new single. Rumors might be the exception due to the heavy Tove Lo feature. Really confusing. Since he just visited Cumulus yesterday, feels like the push is continuing----but where is it? I think they have to keep pushing GT if they want to have success releasing something like TOH.

Seems it does so there is some concern if GT stagnates and doesn't pave a strong enough road for TOH or whatever comes next.

On the POP numbers we are still fighting those two spins GT got on Saturday Online two weekends ago as they are included in the LW spins. The daily spins are still increasing and if we get a decent Friday and Saturday update we will have a very positive number. The Sunday chart number of spins we have to beat for the week is 2082 and we are already +40 on that number at 2122.

It's called Top 40, for a reason. Making Top 40 on CHR is a big deal. Making Top 30 is even better. Top 20 is a big hit. Top 10 is a smash. Very few songs make Top 10!
So, "Yes," IMO GT has made enough impact as his reintroduction single for radio to be on board with the 2nd single. The biggest thing is how well Adam's "comeback" has been received. If #2 is TOH, as we suspect, I think it will be bigger than WWFM.
Keep in mind, this is not RCA. If it was, I might be worried. WBR takes time & sticks with their artists. They are into long term goals & development.
