Bringing this over from the news thread. Spotify numbers.
Ghost Town total increase: 2,877,702.
Sadly less that half of that is for the US. This amount gives about 360k on average / day. We know that Ghost Town wasn't on the charts in the US for which it needed around 170k streams a day. Close to 37% of the streams (I've checked the charts every day) for GT were done by just a couple of countries:
The Netherlands (60k / day) Finland (33k / day) Denmark (30k / day) Poland (6k / day)
Ghost Town also just entered the charts in Sweden (37k streams) and Malaysia (3k streams).
Total increase for the whole album was 4,628,100.
So maybe the US did 25% of those total streams? That's 'only' 770 albums. So streaming indeed will be below 1k probably. Although Spotify isn't the only one where the album was streamed. The albums also got close to 100k streams on Rdio (but this is also ww).

My guess is this is Walmart's first report. They usually report twice. Those Now 54 albums are big at Walmart. Also, Now 54 has no streams or track sales. It is albums only. My expert number "consultant," who is not an ATop member, tells me that if TOH stays close to Ed Sheeran and Sam Hunt, as the numbers roll in, it is a very good thing! So far, so good! Do these get constantly updated? When I checked before these numbers came in, it said something about clicking constantly for updates. Is that what is done? Probably 2 more today, then a big and final one tomorrow!

When it says "Status 30.96%" does that mean 30.96% of all the reporting numbers are in?

Spotify updated. If take numbers from when they froze (see below) means roughly 2.87 streams for GT. Through in the other tracks, divide by 1500, and could be 2K equivalent sales. Just from Spotify.
Where Spotify froze beginning of last week:
GT 9,095,496 ALN 449,696 EITN 337,968 U 369,282
ETA - Oh, I see I am way behind doing my silly little math. Sorry. But yay for streams!

Yes, I posted that above and it was the second update within 40 minutes of each other. That's why I am asking about the frequency. So volatile it is probably best not to post any of this on the news thread until it is really clear.

That seems to be the Achilles Heel See my post on the previous page. I think at best 25% of the 4,6 million increase of all the album tracks are from the US.

About Monday's HDD Sales Predictions for Albums
Need to caution you All. When the first HDD prediction comes in, (around 11 a.m. Pacific time) there will be a % on top of the page.
This % does NOT mean it is a percent of the total sold. It means it is the % of outlets reporting. No one will know which outlets report first. If it is iTunes, number could be higher for say, Hilary (I doubt it.) If it is retail, numbers might be higher for Adam, Amazon higher for James, etc.
On Monday, there should be 2 updates, one in the morning, one late afternoon.
Tuesday, early afternoon, we should have the final numbers in two charts: One for just sales & the other for sales plus stream equivalents and track equivalents.
