SHAME is one of my top favorites!!! I play it a lot. My 33 yr old son finally broke down and listened to all the songs. He's not a music person, but is drawn to the 90's stuff because he and Adam are the same age. Anyway, his conclusions are he likes The Light best of all, ...likes GT and thinks it was a good first single, thinks TOH is the best song on the album and should definitely be the next single. He thought ALN might work on radio. He thought "Shame" was cute and would translate to something fun and campy onstage. He didn't particularly like Rumors...altho he likes Tove Lo's other stuff. TISI did nothing for him. Only liked Brian's guitar solo on Lucy. Said they should have left TIDS off, also Heavy Fire didn't do it for him, nor After Hours. The fact that he actually "liked" 5 tunes surprised me, altho I new he'd like The Light best of all...lol. I was worried that after being an Adam fan, I had permanently reverted to 12 years-old but now I see that it is not quite that bad because based on my agreement with your son (for at least the top 5 grouping), I am indeed 33 years-old. At least now I can drink legally. :D I must agree as well on The Light. I do like TISI though. Rumors, TIDS and Heavy Fire didn't connect to me at first listen either, but they have grown a lot! I like the whole album now, but sometimes skip Rumors. Also 33 years old here . |

Heard 'Ghost Town' on Radio Alice in SF on my way back from the grocery store about a half hour ago!
It thrills me beyond belief to hear it on the radio . . . !
BTW - groceries are for the listening/viewing party we're having at Didilynn's tonight!!
