I really had no intention of being negative towards you, happycat, so please don't do anything drastic on my account ... re bolded: You know - many people feel they don't get enough replies - I know this from discussions with several posters here via PMs or in person... the thing is - it is true for almost everyone to get replies rarely, and to the person looking for a response it feels like they are being ignored ...Which is not the case - just think about all the lurkers and active posters who read here - very few (relatively) post at all... from my observation "controversial" posts have higher probability of a response and often these replies would be the objecting ones. Nothing wrong with that imo, generates a nice discussion . peace Really? And I thought it was just because everyone hated me. But, I'm not paranoid, you understand...

I sent a PM to butterfly and rpeura with links that might help as both Logo and VH1 are geoblocked. If anyone else wants them, please send me a PM.
About the pulling off of videos I find it natural. The programme is Logo's property (as well as BBC's in Kanye case) and they still have reruns to air for their audiences - YTs undermine their business. I think that after the first round of airing the programme has finished on Logo and its partners the YTs might stay if re-uploaded then. Just like with Japan, they wait with the uploads and we can see them a little bit later. But for the BBC I suspect they won't accept videos at all. NB just guessing their policies here.
On the other hand, I feel the frustration too when geoblocking is used and it's great fan service to upload YTs. However, with our time difference I'm usually too late to see them before they are pulled. I wonder if there would be a way to geoblock the YTs so that the people that see the programmes and videos on their site in the first place could not see the YTs. That could be a way to have them stay up (as we are not their audience in any way) but perhaps that's an option for pro users only.
My 'solution' lately has been to stay up and try to watch live streams which is detrimental to RL activities and thus not always a real option. Also in most cases there are YTs that stay up and can be watched later anyway. Maybe I should start downloading these things as we have lovely and diligent fans to provide them to us.
OK, enough rambling thoughts because I think I've seen almost everything in one way or another (easy to miss some when busy though). But what I wrote is partly an explanation why I don't want to post the links publicly.

This I think could be great exposure to those who were clueless about QAL or who just never heard Adam singing with Queen. It is from NYE where he looks so gorgeous and sounds divine. The juxtaposition painfully (for Kanye) makes its point. i don't love the title but if it gets people listening to Adam sounding so yummy, might be good in the long run I agree. Adam's comment OUCH was really very mild compared to what others are saying about Kanye. And the video of both Kanye and Adam doing BR does give lots of people who don't know Adam a chance to see him in all his amazing glory. Kanye is a big ball of ego. Successful? Of course. But come on. You just don't mess with Bohemian Rhapsody. You just don't.

I agree it is all win for Adam. 1. Kanye bashing is a favorite sport for some. Not that he hasn't earned it, but some folks are looking for the next screw up. So, if this guy, Adam Lambert, criticizes Kanye, he is probably right on. 2. Being attracted to the headline and anticipating another possible Kanye train wreck, folks will read the article, and Adam's tweet. They will see that it was snarky but not trashing Kanye. So it would arouse no animosity. 3. Who can resist clicking on the video? "Is Kanye REALLLLY that bad? Can this guy, Lambert, do that much better, or will ke maul Queen's signature song, too?" 4. Anyone with the slightest ear for music can hear that Kanye butchered the notes. Painfully out of tune. They cannot help but think "oy vey" and "ouch" and lots of stronger reactions. 5. Anyone with the slightest ear for music will be impressed when Adam starts singing. Some will be so impressed they will seek out other YT videos of Adam. And some will fall down the rabbit hole. 6. Adam looked stunning on NYE. Breathtakingly beautiful. If the voice doesn't capture ya, the looks will. And those who remember Adam only from his flamboyant, guyliner days will be pleasantly surprised. Maybe even interested in watching more.
Yup,are we sure they didn't plan this as part of the PR effort? Cuz it works!
