For Grammy nomination speculators -- and I know we have a few here -- just a thought. The biggest challenge for Adam getting a Grammy nomination is that he is in the most crowded, most competitive genre (pop) and the one genre where commercial success (big sales) is strongly correlated to nominations. There are only 2 pop vocal categories for solo artists: Best Pop Solo Performance (single) Best Pop Vocal Album BUT....since TOH (single) is a dance track, and even Billboard says so, Best Dance Recording is something he might have a shot at.  |

Lol! I was listening to Radio 538 here because they have played GT in the evening almost every night this week. But they were only babbling about a lot of stuff and played the #1 song here in The Netherlands that I find kinda rubbish. So I switched to Q-music. 2nd song I hear is GhostTown!!!!! So I tweeted the DJ to thank him: Translation: Thank you @kaimerckx for playing GT from Adam Lambert on Qmusic. Just what I needed tonight! Nice song!He just read my tweet after the song!!! Lol. Not really enthusiastic, but still. Never had that before. OH, nice!! |

I dunno if this is old news but there's a UK Spotify advert in which Adam is mentioned by name and Ghost Town plays for about 15 seconds. I'm not entirely sure what the advert is for but it's something to do with "the biggest songs on Spotify". Pretty cool.  Topsify uses the Spotify interface but is a whole different company. You can see that GT is #12 on this playlist topsify.com/biggest-songs-right-now . I find it interesting that Brian may tweeted a link to this article. I don't see it on Brian's feed? Do you mean @brianmaycom? The @brianmaycom is run by Brian's webmistress who tweets links to everything that mentions Queen, any of the band members, and now anything Adam related be it good, bad or indifferent so it means exactly nothing in particular if that account tweets it. |
