Ey ey ey ey. Been reading and lurking on all this since yesterday's thread when Mrs Pittman decided to dump whatever load she was carrying in the Twitterverse. Speculation is a waste of time - but oh so much fun for all... Did she mean, didn't she mean, is he, isn't he, did they didn't they, and why oh why can't everyone be on GNT forever. Fact is Monte is a session musician who writes and performs his own music on the side. He has been making a living that way for years. Would he love to be a huge star in his own right not playing second fiddle (or guitar in this case) to a variety of better known artists? Who knows, I sure don't know and couldn't guess if I tried. It's not my problem but more to the point is most certainly not Adam's problem or responsibility. Hopefully all the grownups involved in whatever is going on will figure it out and maybe all the kids jumping the bandwagon can go find some other bone to worry with. Moving on. HA! You Aussies! Cut to the chase! Like a blast of fresh air! I don't like worrying bones, but I do like bone(rs)! Sorry, couldn't resist.  But ya gotta grieve for change just a little sometimes before you move on, don'tcha? Okay. I'm done. Been a pleasure to talk all night again! See y'all later. I'll be lurking again for a while! |

I'm REALLY REALLY happy that Adam has Sauli NOW. I dont KNOW Adam but this must hurt......
Well as rad1109 said and wonderstruck said also I think OTHERS are his best friends not Monte.
And his REAL friends are there for him.

I am only suggesting different ideas about what is happening in Adam World because I am also a fan of several people in Adam's former band. I am not suggesting that whatever is happening with Adam's friends (Lisa was a good friend to Adam, BTW, not just Monte) is something we don't know about since none of us actually know what happens in Adam's real life...All I'm putting out there is Adam seems to be moving on, with some unhappy campers out there. The band is not Adam's problem, they are on their own...once GNT was over, his obligation to them is done! I'm hoping that our BB can get the most spectacular album out there, on time, with at least half the songs as singles with video to go with them!

Whatever happened, either they'll work it out or they won't. Hope fans have the sense to stay out of it because it really is not their business AT ALL.
I do think Lisa was way out of line for posting that stuff on twitter for all the world to see. Seems like a very selfish, mean-spirited thing to do. I understand everyone gets frustrated but c'mon... :-/
I hope Adam continues to ignore it on twitter.

[enters yawning] There was an error in that article. He wasn't talking about Monte there, but some producer whose name I'm currently blanking on.... I wondered about that, but couldn't quite figure out how to find out more without a name. My take on the comments is that Adam was over the CV stuff a long time ago. He wouldn't want to do anything more with those songs. |

I agree that it's no one else's business but their own, but when she goes on twitter and rants KNOWING that she has a following made of Adam's fans and also reponds to their messages about it...then she is making it their business because she is choosing to bring it up with them. Really bad decision. Deal with your private stuff in private. If she gets hell from this then I can't pity her, she really did bring it upon herself. I don't condone it but she made her bed.
