Chart positions in the Netherlands! A little stall and drop, but gained some places in the top 40!!! NL Top 40: #8 (from #10) Mega Top 50: #7 (from #7) Single Top 100: #14 (from #11) iTunes Top 30: #7 (from #6) SlamFM 40: #2 for several weeks already GT is only 1 position down from the highest position WWFM reached on the Top 40 at #7! Very curious if he will gain that 1 more place next week. I was a bit amazed that GT dropped those places on the Single Top 100 since the iTunes position didn't change much and also on Spotify his position wasn't changed much. However it seemed that the volumes on iTunes this week were very low compared to last weeks (hot weather here and also some big sport events last week probably didn't push people to their computers) and the Single Top 100 top 15 is almost a copy of the Spotify Top 50 list where GT was #14 most of the week. Also the small updates in Spotify for GT didn't help him I think. GT has gained 2 spots on that Spotify ranking now and also is still holding position in iTunes and other download sites so we'll have to see if he can gain a few spots again next week. Airplay is a bigger factor in the other charts and you can see that that did have an effect on it's position in the Top 40. The Mega Top 50 also incorporates the sales so GT holding that position there was very good as well.

Repeating a question someone asked the other day. What is the story for recurrents on HAC and AC for that matter.
Thanks

Repeating a question someone asked the other day. What is the story for recurrents on HAC and AC for that matter. Thanks One way to estimate it yourself is to go to Kworb's site kworb.net/radio/ and look at the number of day's each song has been on the chart. On POP you'll see Tove Lo's Talking Body at 177 days, that's 25+ weeks so it's been eligible to go off but it is still in the top 10. There isn't anything else close to the 170 mark which seems to be the best indicator. I don't think Kworb's numbers are what the recurrent follows because he counts from the 50 mark and I think the recurrent counts from the 40 but it's really easy to use it if you don't want to be dependent on someone else or the pulse board for exacts.

My numbers' friend who I have referred to before, thinks there is a change to the published charts and it will now be going thru Sunday and coming out Monday. I'm not so sure there is a change. But if there is, with an extra day for Tove and The Weekend to drop, it could work to the advantage of GT this week!

Repeating a question someone asked the other day. What is the story for recurrents on HAC and AC for that matter. Thanks I answered the HAC part on page 3. "Bright & Sugar will go as soon as they drop out of top 10. Problem is Ed with Photograph is about 150 spins behind and Kelly is the next one down but about 1000 spins behind so don't think either will get high enough this week." Slight change as Ed's Photograph managed to pass both of them after all but while that puts Bright at #11 and therefore out Sugar is still hanging at #10 so will be good for another week as the next song down is 1000 spins below. I don't know anything about AC because it doesn't seem anyone at pulse bothers tracking that. As it is the person doing the chart notes hasn't updated since the Jun 28 week.
