I’ve gotten into trouble with Adam Lambert fans comparing the two. I think they’re comparable, but in the same way that Freddie Mercury and Steven Tyler are comparable. Lambert and Mercury are perfect singers with amazing range. Their voices are never off pitch. Durbin and Tyler are scratchier, fall off key from time to time, but those imperfections give their voice personality and originality. They also have amazing range. Who’s better? Who fucking cares? You’re talking about two of the greatest singers of all time in Tyler and Mercury, one of the greatest up in coming voices in Lambert and a nobody with nothing but potential in Durbin. Name an Aerosmith fan that doesn’t like Queen and vice versa, I think in the future you’ll see the same with Durbin and Lambert…at least I hope. great comments about Adam

Oh...were you asking about the stuff under the tweets? Adam did not type that. That must be the timestamp or something from twitter. Probably in the native tongue of the person who posted them online...maybe??? Not sure. Adam only wrote the Err 4 and the #Merlot. Carla who posted these is from Germany - that's German language, just the same things that are there in English in tweets. Reply, retweet, what ever. Yup, german. 8-) |

Sadly, my respect for Monte has dropped significantly since yesterday :( I wasn't impressed with his ~response tweets, but figured he was in a rough place in not wanting to publicly admit is wife is a moron and yet still try to defuse the situation. However, his interactions with fans and subsequent tweets were just unprofessional. While he may have every "right" to address the Cray directly, it would have been far better to be above it and NOT respond. He came across as defensive and blaming the fandom for ~overreacting and getting upset over nothing.
I have unfollowed him on twitter. If AFL is happy to have Monte working with them, then that is great, but I suspect that many fans like me who thought he was a good guy and at least gave his music a listen will no longer bother.

Good morning. I've been thinking about Monte's "kicking some ass in Moscow Monsters Of Rock 91 style" tweet last night. If the Heavy Metal type of songs Monte has been tweeting lately are what this Russian Music Festival is all about.....I am a little apprehensive confused just how Adam fits in here? I know Adam can sing anything but he isn't all about Metal like the bands that are going to be there. Huge crowds + lots of drinking = I don't know? :-/ HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABIE!! My thoughts on Adam in Maxidrom. Knowing that Adam can adjust to all occasions, both looks and songs wil be totally hard rock. He will sing hard rock WLL, probably TFM? , and probably he will sing some covers (maybe something like "Sweet Child of Mine" and by doing so, he will certainly gain new fans. (I must say that this is what I wish and hope he will do : ) |
