God, this seems like the poll that won't die. I've voted many times, but at this point I think it is irrelevant and I'd like to see Archie win to prove the point. What do you think Adam?  I'm not clear on that, what do you mean?  I'm not sure that Adam gives a sh*t. But just in case, I'll go vote a few more times. :  |

 LOL I love this. They managed to find the perfect Adam picture, I can practically hear him think "BITCH PLEASE" My sentiments exactly.... Though it's pretty funny how the a picture can take on different meaning depending on context. I'm pretty sure Adam wasn't thinking that when posing on the red carpet. Then again.....those photographers can get pretty annoying : Just Pretty/Perfect, Sangria!  |

ETA: Normally, I would just post this in the Idol or Vocal Masterclass thread, but it is so slow here today, I thought you would enjoy a little vocal lesson??? If not, scroll on by. So, I try to let go of the James/Adam comparisons but it sticks in my craw. How can people NOT hear the difference in the voices? The delivery? The quality? The tone and support? Thank you Cassie such a great analysis! I may be imagining it but it also sounds to me like Adam is making his vibrato more pronounced in many parts of the song which adds to the feeling of uncertainty and hopelessness. I must have watched that performance a million times yet it never fails to move me. I think part of the reason is that Adam pours so much of himself into the song, it feels real and sincere and like he's speaking from his heart. With JD, I often feel like he's acting out what he thinks a rock star should sound like and look like on stage. He's not so much performing a song as playing a part. Which is not to say that I don't find him entertaining because I do. I quite enjoy watching him but as far as the voice? There is NO comparison, NONE. |

I know it's just a 'silly poll', but what I don't understand is peeps giving up on it in the last few days it has to run. To me, it makes no sense after voting Adam through each of the stages for three and a half weeks (and winning) and then just as we see the finish line ahead we go and let Archie win. :-/ But to each his own decision.
