I didn't watch the stream last night, but everyone was so exited about Wicked Games. Because I have (not) extensive knowledge about popular music, I had to Google it. The only Wicked Games that came up for 2 pages was by The Weeknd, who has some new hits, and it has 55 million views. It didn't quite seem like a song that the Atop clan would be getting crazy about. I heard Adam's performance this morning--and, yes, I know the song, but I never know titles and lyrics. Then I went to Google the title again and the page was filled with the correct Wicked Games.
As usual, I'm enjoying these live performances more than the album versions. This time around I'm enjoying not hearing the digital hand claps and finger snaps. They really annoy me on the album. Sorry to those of you who love them. They may be part of the backing tracks for the concerts, but they are in the background instead in my face. SOooooo much happier.
It's interesting to hear Adam try out his falsetto on a couple of the songs. At first he had trouble getting the highest notes in tune but started getting better as the concert progressed. Thing is he can sing those same notes (and does a few measures later) perfectly in tune in his head voice with no struggle at all. He is so opposite in that way. Love it.
I still do not have internet access and am posting by phone so I will be ba k later with a recap.
The OOL intro to GT was so good.
Thank goodness we can never take the theatrical out of Adam. His openings are always amazing! This one was magical. I knew he had this whole show with that opening.

We need to keep pedal to the metal so we have a full blown tour! Might be renting a camper!

I liked it, but if he hadn't said he had a surprise cover, I'd have thought the introduction was for new arrangement of NCOE.

You guys!! UNFUCKINBELIEVABLE!!!!! What a show! The audience was incredible! The "infinty" flow berweem Adam and the audience was incredible! Not your typical casino show! No VIPS in the first few rows sitting with arms folded! It was obvioys Adam knew this would be a room full of love and he went for it! New songs! New arrangements! I was front row and am shocked I survived! Then I won $178!!!!!! WOOT!!
