Pattihum......That location looks remote....Is it a touristy place or have many visitors? Do you have to hike up to the pools of water? I assume it's public and people can swim in the water. Do you ever go there? If you do, snap a pic of you in your Esther Williams pose....lol. In the woods, but not very remote. Not a difficult hike. It is public and it smells of sulfur from the minerals in the springs!! LOL! The location is beautiful though. Ojai is beautiful, just 10 mins east of Ventura, on a road up to the mountains. It is about a 75-90 minute drive from Adam's house. Very hippie dippie community. I hiked to the springs once, with the kids, many many years ago. It is a very popular hike because of the water (very rare in So Cal.)

I know my choices are probably not on Adam's dream song list or even on his radar. Or on anyone else's list, for that matter. From the songs Adam posts he is really into club, dance beats and atmospheric music, not my particular cup of tea. But to experience that luscious voice, the way he interprets lyrics? Love to hear that paired with some of these great classics. I actually wish he would sing all the songs! A girl can dream, right? Since we have a little respite from appearances, may I ask what would be on your list of songs you would like to hear Adam sing if you could compile the set list? Oh, girl. Don't get me started. He would kill any torch song from the past century. Any jazz standard. But, if I was forced to name JUST ONE song I would die happy after hearing him sing, it would be Bring Him Home, from Les Mis. Can you just imagine it? The melody. The purity. The range. The poignancy. The emotion. (And not one note of falsetto!!!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=tI4jb-Aca9M

"More People like them than Adam, that is okay for Adam and it should be okay for us fans but None of us should also be not allowed to say anything against it, if we don't feel the Hype. " And I agree. But there is a difference, I think, in saying "This doesn't appeal to me, but whatever" or responding to a comparison being made by the media, and constantly bringing up someone with no relation to a topic for the sole purpose of mocking. Too often lately, it seems to be the latter; no reason but to mock someone for not being Adam. I can't see Adam liking that, to be honest, and with the genuinely positive stuff that is happening for him this era, it seems to me to be very unnecessary to manufacture positive through tearing others down. I wasn't seeing it as tearing down, what others said, maybe that is the difference for me.
It looks for me as typical snark from Tom and Lorenzo, with Adam they mostly say he is too much, with Sam they say the opposite They made no comparison between them, the fans made that.
And fans always feel passionate, some way too much, some way less, about defending their Stars. SS fans hyperbole his voice as best ever and Adam as over-the-top screamer, well the five that i know.

OT but James Cordon did a recreation of 'Opposite Attracts' with Paula Abdul that is so cute. I hope Adam visits the show again and does another fun skit with JCordon. Bringing back to Adam...Paula loves Adam and in her tweet to James Cordon about seeing him the next day she put 'James Cordon..of the World'. I think that was kind of referencing Adam singing WRTC on the show.
Here's the video

I will never understand this constant need to demean Smith in an attempt to somehow validate Adam. It's not a competition between the two. Adam's success is not dependent on Sam's failure. The choices for such campaigns are not an either or between the two. You are right, of course. Sam's success and opportunities have nothing to do with Adam's career. I don't think that folks intend to demean or bash Sam. I think the comparisons are made because they are both out gay men in pop music and Sam allegedly has a great voice, like Adam (altho' I could debate that). Many Adam fans have believed that Adam's less than total domination of the pop world and lack of product endorsements is largely due to him being openly gay. Therefore, they look at openly gay Sam and wonder "Why is this guy speeding up the charts, getting all these awards, and now getting a modeling gig, and Adam is not?" It IS puzzling. It just reinforces to me how little I understand or am in sync with pop culture. Technically speaking -- Sam Smith has an endorsement and product design deal with Balenciaga, not a modeling gig. His first clothing line will be released this fall. It is not a long-term exclusive and he apparently has plans to build a full fashion company. Sam Smith is the most popular male singer in the world right now -- almost in every country and certainly in the world in total. Why shouldn't he leverage that fame to do something he loves? I am certain that Adam could do something like this if he wanted to. Apparently he is interested in promoting his album and putting together a tour right now. Just being totally self-centered, the last think I want Adam doing is focusing on fashion right now. I want a tour!

I head to NYC on Thursday -- and it looks like I will be there in time for the weather to turn to RAIN!! *** ETA: Adam singing 'Hallelujah' -- I would be dead! It would be an interesting cover. I wonder what he would do with it?
