I know it's late US time, but just have to share that this morning...... I WON TICKETS TO SEE ADAM IN CONCERT IN NZ!!!!!!!!
I phoned in for a radio competition (have been trying every day, twice a day for two weeks) ... and they make you play some stupid guessing game with 3 other contestants and by some miracle I WON!!!! So excited to finally have confirmation. This has been a stressful time for us kiwi fans..... and even better is that I have many amazing friends who have also won tickets and many more I hope will win via the iheart radio draw and a phone-network sponsor draw. There are only 2300 seats in this venue, and I've been told that there are usually well over 10,000 entries for these free concerts, so it is such a relief!!! I can't wait to see him sing THO songs and will give a detailed recap, I promise!  |

FYI the Rianz Top 40 Albums chart just released. TOH goes up seven places from #37 to #30. Has now been in the chart six weeks. This is great news, however no sign of Ghost Town in top 40 singles. The Hits radio has been playing it twice a day (the station giving away tickets that I was lucky enough to win this morning!) And the other iheart radio top 40 station, ZM is giving away tickets next week... but no spins of GT on that station for some time.....hopefully that will change as we get closer to the concert. Still hoping for even bigger radio / tv promo here when Adam arrives.... and hopefully a signing session like he had last time he was here for promo in 2012. But nothing has been announced yet other than the concert, and today a chance to win a M&G. Yeah I think GT is doing well in the States, Europe, South Africa, and Aussie for several reasons. I think TOH or ALN would do far better in NZ. GT doesen't seem to resonate with radio over here. But the album doing very well. And should rise more, with the gig in 3 weeks, hopefully I win tickets haha. |
