7.24.15 Adam News and Info

Sorry this took so long, but it's taken this long to come down off today's high! I booted up this morning to the unbelievable news (truly - almost died) that Adam was performing on campus today!! Quickly called my friend who also works here and we freaked out together before leaving the office (very) early to get to the quad. Got there as the band was sound checking - they had a tough time, I'm assuming because there was a significant echo effect because of the surrounding buildings. Adam came out for sound check at about 2:45-ish (I think, but I wasn't watching the time). He waved to the folks on the lawn (probably about 25 at that point) and said "you're early!" He had asked for no photos during sound check, and faced back towards the band most of the time. When he came out to perform he was drop dead gorgeous. The new tattoo is amazing. We were in the front row, right of center. There were about 10 interns next to us dead center, and they were going nuts over him! That's the group he walked down to during one of the songs. Everyone was standing and dancing! He sang Ghost Town, Another Lonely Night, WWFM, The Original High and Evil in the Night. And he sang a line from EITN to me! The place was completely packed, and loved Adam. We've dreamed for years that he would come to the campus, but I was surprised as hell today when he actually did! What an incredible day.
