Another Adam hair manip from LJ not digging the white frosted lip gloss, a tad to retro 60's for me. I remember wearing that exact shade and thinking it was pretty boss along with my white gogo boots ;D

I can't do the Billboard poll too often because I get horribly conflicted. U2 is right above Other and it makes me feel squicky to totally desert them. I do vote some but not as much as I should be. Bad Adam fan but even worse U2 fan. :-/

Sorry if we've already seen this, but just in case it's new, I just came across this very cool Adam mention. It's a really really long very interesting interview of Dan Savage by Joshua Kors in the Huffington Post about the It Gets Better campaign, and it includes this brief mention of Adam's video: Savage: The problem comes when straight people have limited interactions with gay people, so when they see gay people, their minds immediately leap to anal sex. When straight people see each other, they don't think of the other person's sex acts. ... Anyway, that "ick factor" and the anti-gay bigotry with it is fading the more straight people and gay people interact. I know when my neighbors think about gay people, their minds leap to barbecuing and block parties because that's what we do.
Kors: That's excellent. You know, Adam Lambert's video addresses this issue. He talks about articles written about him on the Internet and how the reader comments section always overflows with discussions about how he's a "faggot," a homo, gay, gay, gay—when, as he says, there's so much more to him than his sexual orientation. His message to gay kids is: Don't let bullies narrow you down so that you see yourself as solely "gay."
Savage: Exactly. Exactly. www.huffingtonpost.com/joshua-kors/dan-savage-interview_b_859172.htmlThanks for the post. I was happy to see this at HP and read the article which gave a link to Adam's video and of course I clicked and started to read some comments. About 2 hours ago someone on there made a direct threat to Adam and I don't know if this happens a lot or where to report it but it freaked me out. I think it was Mr. Rambles. Anyone know what to do with this?

Adam reminds me of Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran in that manip with the platinum hair!
Cassie -- great job as always. Since my range is less than 3 octaves, I always have a little Adam envy when I hear him sing something amazing -- but it's why I truly appreciate his vocal mastery so much. I still remember watching Ring of Fire on Idol and just sat there slack-jawed thinking, "whoa, what AMAZING breath control." I still think that, as a matter of fact.

I just went and found only one comment that was dated any later than 5/11, maybe they removed it. Could you go back and check if it is still there?

Too late to respond but I went there and saw the comment. I think what you should do is go to the right of the comment and they will appear a hands up and a hands down and an arrow, if you click on the arrow it says "flag for spam" you click on it.
