In one of the most recent radio interviews, Adam said the short sides of his hair were his natural color. I am calling BS. Just look at the ginger brow hairs right above. Much lighter than the sides. Certainly Adam doesn't need to be completely honest about his whole beauty routine. And I don't have to fall for his stories either. I am not a hair dresser, maybe I am wrong? What do the experts on the forum say? I say - it's his business. He's gorgeous and I don't give a damn how he gets that way.

View Attachment It's just occurred to me that printed on this t shirt is one of Adam's new songs. How prophetic was he? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I can't read what is on his shirt. If someone can, please post.

I remember seeing some old HD photo when he had really dark hair and if you zoomed in you could see his really light roots coming in. I don't dye my hair so don't know anything, lol, but I don't believe for a minute that he's not using something on it! But whatever, at least it's looking more like a natural color on him now, and I like it! Agree with the above. The no make-up I don't buy either. He's using at least some kind of foundation or BB creme on his face. Else his freckles would be much more present (as it was in the Fault cover pic). As long as I don't see those freckles on his face he's using make-up. But compared to the eye makeup and foundation he was using years ago, he might just as well be using no makeup. Probably everyone who is going to be photographed uses something. I do love the freckles though! (I don't use makeup either, so what do I know?)

I just think it is interesting that he is so forthcoming about so many things, but there are a few he consistently skirts that surprise me. He doesn't like to talk about his look and how he achieves it. And he doesn't like to talk about his voice and how he trains. Sorta like a magician who will not talk about how he performs the magic.

cassie wrote: Oh cassie, you know I am a sucker for your thoughts on singing! I'm glad I lured you in with the diatonic arpeggios! Every time you share your expertise, my admiration for Adam grows and grows. You make it so clear that while he may have been blessed with a one in a billion voice, he has also put in the long hard hours of work necessary to hone it and learn to preserve it. It is so sad for me to hear about so many singers who have to cancel concerts, have surgeries, go on vocal rest, all (I think) because they have not learned, or have learned poorly, how to sing and save their voices. How awful and frustrating to not be able to do what you want to do. And I think many times it gives a bad impression to the people who have paid for tickets, not everyone has the advantage of the knowledge we get from this board. So it would be easy to just make an assumption that the artist just didn't feel like singing, or was finding something they preferred doing. Bad PR, for sure. Yep, I think we got the best of the best. Plus he is hot. The only thing I would say about the hair natural or not issue is that lots of men have all different colors of hair on their head, face, chest. None matching. And I think ginger/strawberry blondish hair tends to get darker with age. But no idea if he is dying his hair or not, but I do think he still dyes his eyebrows. Also would like to throw out to the universe that I enjoy it very much when he wears his shirts unbuttoned, love the chest views. gracie jane wrote: Never been sure about tour musicians versus studio musicians, but I wonder if he played on Macy's new song about B.O.B. Not meaning to repost this if it is distasteful to anyone, I actually like this song and love that crazy Macy Gray and think it's okay to address this in a song. NSFW, I guess, although you would really have to be listening to the words.

In this latest OZ Angus radio interview about the body roll, when the gal says she likes his hair lighter, he says "This is actually more of my real hair color". Then he goes on to mention the previous "fake... black dye", etc. I thought yeah he's being kinda truthful with the "more of" part. But then he adds "It comes out of my head this color" and rubs the side of his head just above his ears. LOL. As far as him being "completely honest"....I think there is sometimes a slight fudge. Perhaps technically the area at the scalp he rubbed was his natural root color...LOL. ( But I believe he still colors it and his whiskers...just lighter than he used to....I think he needs some color for best look)

If someone can, please post. The large print is After Hours, can't read the smaller - likely a promo shirt so maybe the place of business.

I'll be interested to see what he does to his hair colour for the Queen shows - whether he goes darker again to look more rock and roll. I'm guessing he will although the fun thing about Adam is that he's always good for a surprise!

I hope he keeps (if he is) dying his moustache. There is something about those white teeth and that gorgeous smile being topped off by a dark moustache that is just the bomb for me. Sometimes pirate-y, sometimes old swashbuckling movie star-ish, sometimes sly innuendo, sometimes so suggestive, sometimes just so cute and charming, sometimes, when he laughs and his eyes crinkle up and its sexy and cute and charming all at the same time...well, I think I made my point. ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/wub.gif)

I do love the freckles though! (I don't use makeup either, so what do I know?) Yeah I know that every artist who goes outside probably has at least something on their face. I always use a day cream without the BB stuff, but they just stopped producing my cream and now only BB cream is available. My skin is however very sensitive and I still got acne (although I'm 33). When I cover my face up with that stuff it probably will get worse. I only use a bit of mascara now and then, but my sensitive eyes don't like that much either. It's just that I love his honesty about almost anything and I hate lying myself. To have him hear saying that he doesn't do it while he very obviously does it just seems a bit weird to me. I also dye my hair, but I'm at least honest about it. The color is close to my own though and mostly because my own color is quite boring (used to be blond as a child, but now more pepper and salt brownish) and I also got some grey hairs already that I need to camouflage (at 33 it's a bit early to go grey, but it runs in the family).
