The building chart is VERY interesting today! Which one? There are many. The mediabase charts chart shows GT with more spins than "Marvin Gaye" so far this week.

Msloyalfan and I have had knuckles rapped talking about those charts. Rightly so. They lead one down the primrose path but that doesn't stop me from looking at them - just from talking about them.

Theosgma, and I thought the same thing until someone used them last month for a very long analysis about the week. So now I don't care! We speculate here. IMO, I don't see any reason to make them off limits, as long as we understand exactly what they mean & what they are showing.

trying to look ahead (yet again :D)...
recurrents as per Pulse:
Looks like all 3 will go the week of 8/16.. by then 1D will most probably pass GT. I don't see any other challenges for now.
Which brings us to #24 or #23 IF 1D gets slow...

yes,I read somewhere (can't remember who posted and where) that it is 1 spin/day in the mid-night to 3 am time slot... never prime time... so while it is AWESOME BBC IS PLAYING GT! there is much room for improvement. but baby steps are fine! I didn't know Adam is on Parlophone Music.. Apparently it's a part of WB...

Not really prime time but at least better than during the night.

Walk the Moon will also go recurrent this week, as it will finally pass below #10. 5th Harmony will go recurrent as soon as it drops below 10, which could be next week. Both those songs missed their actually recurrency dates because they were still rising & still in Top 10. There is a chance Hey Mama (Guetta) will drop enough this week to make its recurrency. It dropped 600 in one day, so if its tailspin is beginning, it could go fast. Remember "Fuckin Summer" song?! Oh, also, a better than slim chance DJ Snake will drop below GT by this Sunday. So, to sum that up, I'd say a 25 for this Sunday, possibly a #24. The next week, up 2-3 more spots
