JMHO on the issues brought up above. If Adam lurks anywhere besides Twitter, it’s probably articles about himself. And it’s hard for me to see the craziness and negativity and fanwars run amok there sometimes. I usually don’t look, because it makes me miserable. Hopefully, Adam has forcefields up when he reads. In terms of what I tweet, Adam will never hear anything from me that isn’t positive and encouraging (and sometimes silly). I sure wish that other fans would do the same, but I have no delusions of being able to control them. I don’t spend my time on Twitter telling other people what to do, and simply unfollow people who tweet in a manner I find unpleasant. I don’t often look at Adam’s @ replies because I don’t need the heartburn. As for what is on a fan forum like this, I see it as a place where people who love and appreciate Adam can come together to speculate, daydream, flail over the good stuff, and have discussions over the not-so-good stuff. There will be negative press, and I’d rather discuss that openly and get different perspectives, rather than ignore it or fret over it in silence. It helps me process by talking things through and reading what other people think. What do I know, right? but I think Adam would be cool with that. If he lurks here, and I don’t think he does, he’d see a place that is filled with love for him, and also filled with people who are open to learning from each other and a free exchange of ideas. That being said, beating dead horses or working ourselves into fits over things we can’t change is hardly useful. And usually there’s someone who can gently steer us in a different direction. I’m putting my own forcefields up, because I think we’ll be dealing with the Durbin thing for a while. AI may be over soon, but he'll be doing press all through the Idol tour, and now that they've manufactured this drama, he'll be asked about it constantly, I'm sure.    Is it Sunday? Great Post  |

citygirl36 Nadine Whoo hoo Adam's it gets better commercial on during DWTS On ABC twice in one day! Just saw it too kittykay and lindy. This commercial is being aired often on the most popular shows on TV. For good or bad, people are seeing Adam every day. It just goes to show that you should go with what you believe first. He sent out a message of hope to teens who needed it and I believe that was his only motivation. However, now his face is being seen a lot on mainstream TV. Karma. Not just mainstream TV. Mainstream TV with audiences that are obiviously interested in music! (I'll lump the DWTS as music lovers, even though its really dance since you can't have the dance without the music). For someone who is officially hiding out while in the writing stage, Adam is getting an exceptional amount of public face time. And, IMO, with one of the best crafted commercials seen in a long time.  |

Amazing to me that you all are so wrapped up in this James thing. You may stone me, but you get the angst you deserve if you keep reading and talking about it. WHO THE FUCK CARES!!!??? I'll make myself scarce for a week or two to keep from putting a gun to my head ! Oh, and perhaps the resident pot stirrers should take a look at themselves before blaming other websites for their articles. Again, why do you care. I'm sure Adam doesn't give a fuck what James says. Just because nothing else is going on, doesn't mean that the same old nonsense has to be rehashed. I know, be nice. Well, I can't. Keyboard? Is that you? ;D ETA: I think we are just bored. |

Gaga is vulnerable right now. Her latest songs have exposed the emperor's lack of clothes. I just think that for this album she focused too much on creating a manifesto for manifesto's sake instead of just creating good music. Adam take note. Music first. |
