It will come out with the song, which I still think is next month! I definitely think the song will be heard on the radio by mid-September. I didn't think he would do this Fresh 102.7 radio-sponsored show with Duran Duran and Rachel Platten on October 8 and not have a new single to push in the lead up to it, since those kinds of shows are usually done in exchange for the radio play that's used to hype the event and the artists who participate. Doubtful he'd "waste" that kind of spin currency on GT in the late stage of the song's cycle. I wonder if they'll follow the pattern of releasing the lyric video first and then maybe the music video right as the tour ends when he can do more press. Either way, they'll be ready to go! Can't wait to see the video! Did you see my reply to you with the timeline of GT? Official MV came out one week After the song dropped.

Oh, I disagree! This has to be TOH! Chasing the Original High in Vegas fits perfectly!! And now I AGREE with you! lol. Just took me a sec to get the concept. As long as we get to see plenty of Adam in the vid......it'll be great! Maybe he'll ride into Vegas going 150 on a hot summer night.....lol. Please let there be lots of Adam in it....please, please! Perfect! Adam in a convertible driving 150 on a hot night into Vegas. I got the need for speed! I am excited, it must be TOH. And Vegas is the epitome of searching for a high one has lost.

For me TOH is the next single: it has the potential to become an anthem. I see only plusses for TOh to be the next aingle: it is the titeltrack, it has special meaning for Adam, it is a very catchy song, it has a summerfeeling, it is a perfect next single after Gt, it represents the album very good, Adam nails the track live (in falsetto or not, he nails it), great lyrics. (Me an Adam fan? How did you guessed it? For me, ALN feels more of a song which could be on the first album (don't get me wrong, i LOVE the first and second album (and third)), but for me this song as a singke would kind of feel the same when NEver close my eyes was a single for TP. And i don't want to "settle" for a single which is most radio friendly or most Adam as we knew him. GT showed the new Adam and for me the second single must flollow that path Agreed 100%. For me TOH is a no brainer as a follow-up single as I see it as a great representation of the album. I love ALN too but may for for a later single. And I agree that it doesn't quite reflect the sensual, more mature vibe of the album.

I replied to it yesterday. : ) Your post reminded me about lyric videos and the cushion they provide in advance of the actual music video. I've seen that sometimes the lyric video comes out with the song and then the actual music video is released up to two weeks later. I was just speculating on their options, in case they wanted to wait until he wasn't in the midst of the tour to release and do possible press about the video. But it's all good because it'll be ready to go whenever they want to pull the trigger!

I want Adam centric! Also in IMHO there will be touring in 2016. Its just a given in my mind. 2016 is going to be a good year. going to Burning Man and I want a concert in Vegas right after.

I agree. We do punch above our weight in terms of 'influence' and, given that UK market is also one of the big 4 in it's own right, that makes us an important market. Plus, Adam's extensive UK exposure with QAL was there to be leveraged. That's been one of the more frustrating aspects of this as far as I'm concerned. You'd have thought the Queen association would have procured more than just a handful of spins on Radio 2 and a couple of other minor stations, yet it hasn't. Mind you, I suppose QAL could be a double-edged sword: yes, it gets him a certain amount of attention, but it also implies that he suits an older audience, thereby putting off Radio 1 and Capital, who only want young people listening to them? My gut feeling is that Radio 2 would actually like to support him (the Queen connection is a plus for them), but GT wasn't a good fit for their station (they haven't played it since it went off the playlist, so I don't think they were ever very keen). If the next single is more AC-leaning, they might be more enthusiastic. But we'll have to wait and see, I guess.I think you might be right about the Radio 2 fit - or rather lack of it. Anyway, it looks like it's going to take that 'perfect storm' to break the UK market i.e. a US mega-hit + perfectly timed and pitched promotion. As you say, time will tell
