I'm pretty sure Adam will feature extensively in his own music video. Most cases in which singers aren't shown in their videos are when they're strongly against it, or are exceptionally unattractive, and/or cannot act to save their lives.
Seems to me that Adam's team is marketing not only the songs but also Adam himself, or rather his image, and the GT video has started the mission of showing him as a "bigger than life-more beautiful than life-fiercer than life" pop god. Which is what he really is, actually. There is so much to sell when it comes to Adam.
The job of other people in the video as I interpret it, is to show things that Adam would want to be connected and associated with, but not necessarily done/played by himself, because they wouldn't quite fit his image and character. For example, if he wants to show drag queens, but doesn't want to be in drag himself.

I am constantly amazed at how comfortable Adam seems in all of the interviews and there have been some weird ones. He is so charming and articulate but I also see a comedian, he's just so funny! |
