Question for those of you who have the non-explicit TOH, how is the 'fuck' in "I don't give a fuck if the sun comes up" handled? As head of WB (usa not netherlands because I don't want to shove nic out of her job), I am trying to decide between TOH and ALN for the next single. "I don't give a damn..." I have both versions - wish there had been a "clean" version w/bonus tracks. So I burned a clean plus bonuses for my car. I gave a clean version to my DIL (small children in car), but then gave her a burn of clean plus bonuses because I love those bonus songs and didn't want her to miss them!

And of course the next single should be TOH Lyrics! "There's no comfort in comfort I need the edge But the edge keeps drifting it's all in my head" Beat! Voice! Showcasing his singing without getting too much over the top, incorporating that very current floating falsetto sound and a glorious wail on the bridge TOH is catchy too, the title track and the song that makes Adam very happy when he is singing it. So it is a good thing I have been promoted to head of WBM, we get the best next single possible. It's even better since I have been looking for a new job for a bit now. Thank you Q3! But can we keep Ghost Town for a just little while longer? I think it is not completely done yet here, and I just love hearing Adam in unexpected places. Never happened to me before, and today it even happened at work! Plus I still really like that song. GT will sure be around for some time here in the Netherlands! I'm not sure if it will rise any further on the charts, but it won't fall suddenly either. I kinda seem to attract GT. When I turn on the radio in the car I get GT quite often (on 5 minute drives even) and a colleague of mine has Q-music non-stop playing on his desk and it happened two times already when I was there that GT was playing. The last time he (male in 20's) even turned it up because I made a comment about it! He really likes it. The female across from him wasn't that impressed though.

Thanks evergreen and csquared. I agree, damn doesn't sound quite as good in this song. Hmmm, maybe TOH. I would love Adam to have a huge hit with a song that he feels is completely him. Although ALN is a great sing-a-long song. Decisions decisions.

I think it would sound better on radio with a bleep, pause or maybe a "fa" or some kind of altered fu*k sound. But I suppose they'd just use the clean damn version.

As President of WBR, I choose TOH as the next single. I love the catchy lyrics and rhythm; it's so much fun to sing along with! I'm waiting awhile, though, as GT is still holding its own on the charts. Also, with such reminiscent lyrics as "Remember back in Hollywood, the medication flowing through my veins was you..." and "Summertime it stays on my mind...," it seems like a great song for late fall or early winter, when the day-to-day doldrums have begun settling in and the whimsy of summer is becoming a fond but distant memory.

I think Ghost Town is a hit! Not a "smash" hit, but a hit. Didn't someone say a while back that you could consider top 30 a hit, top 20 a big hit, and top 10 a smash? Arbitrary, but makes sense. I've sure heard GT on the radio more than I've ever heard an Adam song on the radio, including WWFM, but then again this is Seattle-Victoria-Vancouver radio I'm talking about, lol.

TOH for the next single! not a single doubt in my mind, to the point I don't even understand how any other song can be considered .

So I showed to my friend videos of some of Adam's best perfomances with Queen and few of his solo stuff, that you guys recommended the other day, and the guy wasn't blown away (at least he didn't show it, but he watched very attentively like 7 videos in a row without grumping) and said: "Okay, I was wrong, that dude CAN sing, okay okay!". And knowing him, this is a total win over)).
There was another girl in the room, and she just watched the monitor while my friend was listening in headphones and she kept saying how handsome Adam is; particulary commented on his "funny" ears and "sweet" cheeks and "sexy" legs)) whatever works...
Oh, and I don't remember if I told you already, but my little brother is almost a "glamboy" now) Well, since he's my LITTLE bro, he always repeats after me, for example, with my Placebo and Queen obsession during these years)) but at the beginning he was like: "ewwwwww, Adam Lambert? He's an emo, ewww, he looks like Bill Kaulitz, how u even like him?". It took me like one Evil In The Night, couple of photos with melvin and toned down look and the boy was converted)
I don't usually share my music and don't talk about artists that I like, but wherever someone knows I like Adam, they're like "naaaaah, why him?". So now my job is sorta open people's eyes..
