Bamafan just called. Not much has changed with her this week. Last Saturday when I picked her up the telephone line people were there and she thought she would have her land line working that day. Nope. They were just running lines all through the damaged area. The lines won't be live until sometime in June. >:( The insurance people still haven't come to look at the house. They've been getting estimates for roof, windows, etc., to be ready when the insurance peeps do come. They went ahead and replaced the garage door because amimals were coming in. She has no idea when she'll have TV and internet.  She says "hi" to everyobdy!

it's on TMZ next finally showed it I didn't think this mention was bad at all.. Rockstar Adam Lambert and Boyfriend... not even a raised eyebrow over the boyfriend part.. just went on to talk about the expense of Tats.. very respectful for TMZ |

She might want to purchase a prepaid internet service like Virgin Mobile. You purchase the USB connector and then you can either purchase prepaid minutes or link to the device payments to one of your credit cards for unlimited monthly minutes. That is what I did when I visited my mom who has no internet connectivity. It's a pay as you go service with no long term contract requirements. Once you are on the internet, you will have some limited access to TV programming also. Based on my experience, monthly unlimited option is the better option. If you purchase based on dollars, then internet usage is determined based on number of MB of data that is transferred. A hour spent on ATOP can easily eat up $10 bucks. |
