You can add Gold Certification in Poland to the stats for GT. Shoshanna mentioned it in a tweet. Platinum in The Netherlands was reached some weeks ago already. Shoshanna tweeted about that then. Don't see that in the opening post yet. |

Nice Monday and Tuesday updates! Loving those Pop numbers esp AI! Loving those AI increases as well. To bad it's not reflected much in sales yet. However GT gained a few spots to #97 again in iTunes. Still not that great though. When you look at the sales of everything in front of GT and even below, it is stunning that it is where it is on the charts. Cheyenne is sluggish but still ahead in sales though maybe not for long. Omarion is not strong in sales and is dropping. Afrojack below GT is even less of a seller than GT but climbing! Sam Smith below is dropping and in the 90's. Afrojack and Adam seem to be the anomalies with sales below 99 and yet adding spins and climbing. So interesting. Somethings gotta give! |

I think another factor that affects iTunes rank is AI. Even though GT's AI is improving it is not as high as those around him.

You have to remember that GT has 3 versions on iTunes as well as the remixes. A lot of the other songs don't have multiple versions. Even though we aren't seeing the others on the charts they are still selling. So what would be the standing if all of them were counted together? Any way to know that? I doubt it because nobody has numbers access. Kworb does his estimates by chart position I think. I really have no idea how he comes up with his numbers. |
