This is Adam Lambert’s next single in Europe. Whilst we rated it as an album track, and even as a promotional single, will it work as a proper single? We’re not sure. It feels a little too theatrical for anything beyond minor Radio 2 and Magic FM airplay. But we see it doing decently in mainland Europe, with its Robyn-inspired chorus, so there’s that. Could anyone explain to me why this song is more theatrical than other songs on the album, including Ghost Town. Are there particular elements that make it theatrical? Are there any other top pop songs that may be considered theatrical? And, is this really a bad thing???????Inquiring minds have to know. It's not "theatrical" -- it is a mainstream pop song. And this is not a real review -- it is a personal blog.

In case some people didn't know, Robbie has been a fan of Adam's since American Idol. So I don't think he is trying to ride Adam's coat tails. This is what he said about him in 2009: Adam Lambert is my personal bestest Pop star right now.....If you haven't been watching American Idol check him out... he's the real deal in fact if there was a Singing Olympics and the US where sending Michael Buble and Adam Lambert i wouldn't even try out for the UK team...ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/35298460.html
I have to admit that I don't read all the posts, since it's quite difficult to read them all on your home at work. LOL. However, I don't think anybody think that Robbie's trying to ride Adam's coat tails. Yes, his name's not so popular in the US, but so does Adam. Adam's not as popular as Bruno Mars, Katy Perry or even Ed Sheeran, or SS etc. As I mentioned up thread, Robbie's more popular and very famous in other parts of the world or outside the US.
If there will be a collaboration with Robbie, it will be like a collaboration with Queen. It might help Adam in the UK or other parts of the world where Robbie's so famous, it might not. But if Robbie really want this collaboration, I think his team needs to contact Adam's team.
Actually someone here did post that they thought Robbie was trying to ride Adam's coat tails, which is why I said it.

Something puzzling with Adam's upcoming schedule...
If Adam's 30-minute set starts at 11:30pm (EDT) and ends at 12am , and the NRJ Sweden radio takeover is said to start at 11am (EDT) the next morning, and the flight from Long Beach to Sweden takes about a little under 12 hours, then he'll be more than an hour late for the radio takeover! Hmm.

ALN is a breakup song. The emotion in the song should appeal universally. It is one of song on this album that I immediately liked. That is what I hope has appeal to the world wide audience.
I am hopeful that ALN will create a "connection" to the world wide audience. That's what an artist needs. Once you have that connection, the world is open to the messages from any other art /song that is delivered. If people feel that "You get me", they are open to accepting your music. That is what Adam needs, that connection.

In the shallow end...will Adam be wearing beach wear? Is it safe to assume that he won't have on a leather jacket?

Has Adam's Glee puppet bidding stopped now? If it has, what was the winning bid?
