So I am having a little epiphany about the AI courtesy of 97.3. I tell you, I have learned so much from this first hand interaction.
What seems to be happening is that the spins are not quite as high though very good and it seems to be because they are not spinning it as much in the graveyard shift. So it might be down a bit in spins but they have shifted to almost all daylight hours. So far today it is 7.22 AM, 10:18 AM, 12:43 PM, 3:22 PM, 4:37 PM and 7:03 PM. Two commute spots and one great lunch hour spot and the others are fine and we aren't done. I expect possibly two more spins tonight but definitely at least one. Only one graveyard spin was at 2:36 AM. Now mind you, I would prefer three or four graveyard AND all the daylight hour spins but I am very entitled.
Meanwhile we are making progress with WiLD (West Palm iHeart) which has picked up spins into the 30's. Y-100, on the other hand, is disgraceful. GT is a #23 song not even in their top 50 playlist.

US iTunes is up to #87 now  It's at #85 now, perhaps because it's actually been getting some airplay from the big market stations. |

IDK how many spins today overall but I see they just played it a few mins ago. I went to their Tweeter page to Thank them and found this tweet : Z100 New York @z100newyork 21m21 minutes ago We can't wait!!! As of the time of this tweet...the new @justinbieber "What Do You Mean" is droppin in 1 day, 11hrs, 7 minutes 10 seconds I suppose this will shoot up the charts, right? |

Justin has a Friday deal. So it will shoot up for a week and then drop next Friday. Will probably not effect anything this Sunday. Nica, Justin is NOT a radio darling, so we shall see what his deal does for him after week one.
Z100 has spun 5 times so far today. 3 overnights and 2 very good times 5:00 and 8:00. KIIS has been spinning today too.
So happy about Chicago AND Detroit AND Cleveland AND Miami! 4 markets that have been elusive for Adam in previous eras! GT has done a fabulous job of getting Adam back on radio!
ETA: Went to the KIIS homepage after I signed off here and GT was playing! Got to give it 2 thumbs up!

GT is doing really well in Chicago. I am hearing it daily on the radio---good spins from B96 which just added, and the DJ's are being SO complimentary when introducing it. I wonder if he might be doing their Jingle Ball. WWFM was basically ignored by KIIS and B96, so having GT received so well is great! This is soooo great to hear. I'm in the Chicago area, too, and have just heard it a handful of times now, although I have seen that I've "just missed" it a few times when checking the recently played logs on our local stations. Yay for B96, too; correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember that they gave much attention at all to WWMF. The Mix gave WWFM the most spins, as I recall. |

What is the "deal" and how is it "paid" for? For instance - what is Steinfeld's story? She is continuing to have those 200-300 or more daily increases for the second week now...
