I understand that this is a purchased ad but how does that translate into spins for two stations that have not been spinning strongly for weeks. Clearly the fact that they are spinning is driving the iTunes ranking up now at 85 but what is inducing them? I know it is pure speculation but I don't have a clue about these machinations to even envision what WBR can be doing. |

Peeps seem to attribute it to a breakthrough in a group of significant metrics like AI, video views, streaming, weeks on BB hot 100 etc. that combo increases power spinning from what I gather |

I sure wish darned 106.1 KISSFM in Seattle would get on the bandwagon. As rihannsue said a while back, their playlist is a weird mix of oldies and some new stuff. Never have played Adam. I think they're about the only CHR station in Seattle. Thank goodness for the HAC station KCLK 98.9, which was the first in the nation to play GT, even though they're slacking off some now. Still, that's just me being selfish, lol! This has been a pretty exciting ride!

It's looking like the "surge" is going to result in ending this week at #23!
My current prediction for coming Sunday:
Week of Aug. 30:
POP:
recurrents: Wiz and 5H 24 - 2 = 22
The Weeknd passes 22 + 1 = 23
HAC:
recurrents: Derullo will most probably slide to 11 and go recurrent 18-1 = 17
RCity will pass GT 17+1=18
I am curious to see how fast JB gets into top 20. Will he top Steifeld's meteoric increases?
I see many talking about GT getting into top 20 with the on-going push - I still maintain we need THREE digit increases to move up.
The awesome AI is helping with sales! on iTUnes not only GT but the album moved up nicely - about 300 iTunes spots!
