My parents called in the middle of Adam's set! Too rude to tell them I would call them back. They are 89 and 90 years old. They get precedence. Sigh. My mom has Alzheimer's but still remembers I like that guy singer. Last time I visited I showed her a couple of songs from QAL on her TV and she kept saying how good looking he was --- to the point that I think my Dad was feeling jealous. She would become a Glambert if she could only remember him for more than 15 minutes at a time. My mother had Alzheimer's but she remembered to the end that I liked Adam, even if she lost his name.....she called him 'the young man with the laced up trousers'....we always laughed at the impression those pants must have made on her. Wow, amazing what they will remember.... I was watching a yt video of Raja discussing his father's Alzheimer's and he just broke down in the middle of it.....such a tough condition to live with, esp. for the family. 'The young man with the laced up trousers' - that is so sweet.... |

I just love how he never ever lets us down. Each performance better than the last. As someone (sorry forget who with all the excitement of the festival) mentioned earlier we still get excited with the anticipation of each performance - it never gets old. Fingers / toes and everything crossed hoping for an announcement of a North America Original High Tour. Anticipating this Fusion performance I had that old feeling of nerves in my stomach that I had before QAL on the EMA's and the first QAL concert in the Ukraine. I haven't felt that way when Adam's performs any longer but for some reason I felt it again today. Worried for nothing (lol) he was amazing as always!  I guess it was more about being anxious how the Festival crowd would react. They seemed to love him despite the rain.... |
