OMG I just remembered.!! mys*&@^#r you are going to the finale arent you? jealous..... jealous... jealous.....  You are our EYES and EARS, you hear????  Oh lindy I just saw your post. I have no idea about Katri, but it seems that they are going to take her also arent they? I am!! I guess I will have to hang around the red carpet area a bit!  The finale won't be a country finale. Lauren and Scotty will each have a solo with thier favorite country star. So I figure Carrie and Josh Turner will be there. But besides that, the others are Rock, Pop, and R&B so the other guest stars will mirror that. Gaga is performing, definitely not country! The Tuesday show, the performance one, will be all Country. That's the night I am skipping on TV. I actually could have gone to see that live too, but, "Ummm, No!" Not a Country fan at all! Aw shucks, I was so hoping Scotty would get to duet with Dolly Parton to Islands In The Stream And as a matter of principle I'm not watching the Finale. Looking forward to your recap though MyS*&@^#r |

When Sauli said lots of Red Carpet events, I wonder if Adam is going to Simon Fuller getting his Star" on the Walk of Fame. I believe that is Monday.
Could they be going to the Billboard Music Awards in las vegas? Hmmmm, interesting!!!!

Maybe we didn't gamble but we sure filled up the wine bar on the top floor for hours!! FS seemed to have loved the Glamberts! I think they've even tweeted about wanting us back. Oh and don't forget the event/M&G they sponsored for the fans! |

The thing is, they left everyone cooking alive in line all day so they can't be surprised that people didn't come back and gamble. They badly mismanaged that whole setup (sold obstructed-view seats as premiums, then denied they were ObsVu). Eventually, they admitted it, but was a mess. It is interesting to know they book these acts, not because they're "has beens," but because they want their audience to skew to baby boomers. And it's not good enough to sell out the hotel and have people eating at the restaurants, but the real money is in spa and gambling. I'm hoping for Adam and Sauli on the red carpet. Squee!!   |
