This Queen podcast with Rosie Horide, a journalist who got to know the band well has some Adam mentions. About the 5 minute mark they talk about Adam singing with the band and in the last few minutes the administrator guy 'Nick?' talks about being on the road during QAL US. Rank changes don't always indicate sales increases but this happened quickly -- 103 to 87 in 4 hours. And the move happened around 9:30 AM EDT. Perhaps Adam music buyers don't go to church.  Fingers crossed it stays in the top 100 on iTunes. All this song needs to move way up on the Hot 100 is sales. It has radio and streaming.
ETA Yup, I messed up the formatting... my babbling is just the above blue paragraph. Q3 -- I snuck in and fixed it.  Funny story. The one station in Victoria that plays GT on a regular basis (but only once or twice a day) is 107.3 KOOL FM. You can register, log in every day and rate the song. That's what I do as well as requesting. |

My maternal grandfather spoke Hungarian, German and almost flawless English. My maternal grandmother spoke Russian and almost flawless English too. After reading all of that stuff about cases, I'm wondering if they were both geniuses! LOL!!! WOW! Great! |

Thanks ghost for bringing over the latest radio interview. ILHSFM......"It's just a hop, skip and jump" down to So America. He often tickles me with his little sayings and word choices......so old school. My 33 yr old son would never say some of the cute little things that I, and my mother before me, have said. Adam must have heard many of these vintage sayings as a kid and they just seamlessly flow into his conversation. I loved when he said "truth be told" once. Sometimes I think I love hearing Adam talk as much I love hearing him sing! He is so clever, funny and spontaneous. Obviously, he loves words and lyrics and I expect he picked up a lot from listening to old musicals which have wonderful librettos. |

(I think I've messed up the quote function...) about Adam music buyers and church, lol! A week or so ago I was in the car and Ghost Town came on one of the Victoria BC stations that kind of reaches its limits near us. When that happens a religious station bleeds in. Adam would sing "My heart is a ghost town" and then this preacher would yell something about the bible. It was pretty funny!

If I remember correctly they pride themselves on not having a lot of repeats during the day, which could explain their low rate of play... |
