Thought/Theory Hans Haveron's, The tattoo designer, style of artwork reminds me of the album covers of the past. Eber has a large vinyl collection and Adam has talked about being fascinated by the covers. Do you think it could all go together? Hans does an original design for the Adam2 cover. Is anyone doing something this artistic? The key being a symbol that appears on the cover. Adam's other tattoos represent a point in his career. Can you see Adam using Hans' to design his cover? Were things like the picture of the chair trial balloons? kittykay I love your theory and I could totally see it happening. One thing though, what do you mean "chair trial balloons"?

What is the guess that with Carrie in town ...a gal duet is in the making for Wednesday night's AI finale! The tweet is also a PR push for those involved in the show. Adam may still show up on Hollywood and Vine (unless already booked in a studio, unless practising for Russia, unless packing, unless sleeping in with Sauli.) Pr wise Adam should show up as a sign of respect for Simon F ...crippity....Simon F showed up for his birthday party!! On the other hand...one never knows who 19 wants or has extended invites to ... but we would get more pics of ADAM! Who knows, maybe he's not invited. Should he willy nilly show up if he's not invited? :-/ I only threw that coment in as I do not know the protocol for such PR things. Maybe they want to just highlight the AI finale artists and contestants. But, this is a special moment for Simon F, and I do think those that wish to show their respect, and wish to go, should feel welcome to go. The tweet is basically inviting the general public to go. Sometimes in trying to be too politically correct my posts backfire. The part I thought most would pick up on was why he might not go ...trying to make a joke about sleeping in with Sauli. Oh well.

Adam visited Hans in his New York studio on his recent trip. He tweeted a random picture of a chair design by Hans Haveron. Was it an attempt to gauge the audience reaction to the design? www.whosay.com/adamlambert/photos/24135Note: Q3, Glad you are back. Adamptopia isn't the same when you are gone. Now we just need Bamafan back!

Lauching an album and a hit single is fraught with risks. Gaga and Beyonce are having their issues. JHud may have had so much promo that people were sick of her. Her songs and her album are not doing nearly as well as one would expect considering all the promo she had. Of course, for all of these artists, the primary thing is the music. The music is just not hitting the sweet spot the listening public.

Has Idol gone country? I can't figure out what is going on. But it seems like the only Idols who are selling music are shifting to country or are completely country.
The pop charts are loaded with everything but country -- the highest ranked country song is "The Story of Us" at #27. The only Idol related act on the chart is J.Lo.
HAC which has had an Idol song on the Top 40 for 6 straight years has no Idol music -- except for and country song -- JASON ALDEAN/KELLY CLARKSON "Don't You Wanna Stay" and, of course, J.Lo and Steven Tyler. multi-format Archie put out a pop album -- did not sell or get airplay. Cook put out a pop-rock album -- prospects unknown but first single did not sell or get airplay. Kris has played one new song that may be on his new album -- solidly old-school country. Kelly did a country duet that is a hit. New album is pop-rock. Daughtry has always been in that Nickelback country-rock genre but is shifting more country. The two finalists are both country singers. Bo and Taylor Hicks are doing country music. The only other non-country Idols left are R&B and Adam. (And Blake who is not a major label recording artist now.)
If Blake puts out a country album, I will have to buy it!

I think he knows that we know, that he loves skulls and he tweeted it to show his enthusiasm for this chair. Or maybe you're right, I dont know.

These WOF events are solely PR. You have to buy the star and pay for the event. They are set up for the press, and usually used to promote something. This is clearly to promote the 10th Anniversary show. With two country finalists, I expect them to throw in some big name pop, rock and R&B acts to deliver ratings. The final and finally are the last two days or May sweeps and the ratings are very important to Fox.
