Thanks guys !!!  Just ran over to Twitter, and now back here. I'm so outta practice for these sprints ! According to needacoke, I picked a good time (slow news period) to be away, so hopefully it won't take me too long to get back up to speed. Ha Ha Ha! Well "slow" is relative in Adamland! Hope you really can catch up though. |

Well, my lovelies ....I'M BACK !!!!!I heard your request KittyKay  At least for the time being....cable/internet is up, but the tech guy said it might be kinda on again/off again for the next couple of weeks....so thought I'd post quickly while I can. I have so much catching up to do. I want to thank you all again for all the well wishes for me and my family....we're trudging along....hope all this "remodeling" is finished before tour # 2 starts. Still no word from any of the insurance companies....fingers crossed on that front. What's all this talk about the rapture? I quickly skimmed the thread. If it occurs later today, I guess I'll see a few of you in heaven (Mayumi & justwishin for sure....needacoke, I'm not so sure lol) The rest of you heathens, party hard !!! (What a crock of BS....HaHa). Happy Birthday to my dear friend MANGOKAT !!!!! Have a great day with that precious Mr. Mangokat......I love you !!!! Not a day goes by that I don't think about you when I put on the infinity ring you gave me. Thanks to Needacoke and Justwishin for posting my updates...I love you both, too !!! And thanks to Q3 for setting up a thread for all my well wishers to post....You're "THE SHIT" !!! I love you !!! Also, I saw the rear of my house at the beginning of the ABC News clip you linked.....thanks for finding that. I'm off to scan the threads.....mostly looking for pretty pics ! , you're back! Now that's the best birthday present I'll get today! Oh how you've been missed. If you can at least get on-line now and then perhaps things won't seem quite as bleak in Cullman. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. All you Atop peeps sure make life more fun. Just a few friends coming for dinner tonight at 5:00, but I gotta say it's kinda tough planning a birthday celebration in the midst of Rapture (thus the time). At least want them to go out with full stomachs. Coke, Mr. Mangokat did get me something special (you know this is one of those milestone birthdays). We visited a Tattoo shop yesterday. I've worn winged necklaces ever since I started following AFL, so got a wing tattoo on the inside of each wrist. Our sons didn't roll their eyes, but encouraged me to do it. Not bad for an old broad. |

Q3 It's good to be back. As I told Crazylady, my tornado "intervention" and stint in AFL Rehab for 3 wks + 3 days was inadequate in curing my Adam addiction. After glancing at all my e-mail, I rushed here to Atop as fast as I could. haha.

Hope to see you again during the next tour. My friend in Vegas, Linda, has gone back to work so I've told her to start findng out who has inside connections at the various venues in LV. Never too early to start planning! She's all for it; told her my tour fund was already started!

Some thoughts from the last couple of days ...
1. Happy birthday Mangokat.
2. Welcome back bamafan, I hope the tech guy was wrong and you never lose internet again.
3. Hope there is still internet for those of us "left behind".
4. I know there will be because everyone says twitter is the devil and there you go.
5. Radio PDs are over-playing Rolling in the Deep now. Those guys are really contributing to burn-out of good artists (and I include many of the current divas in that list) because they have no depth to their playlists. I remember when you could listen to a radio station during a party but it would not be possible now. No wonder apps like Pandora are taking hold.
6. mwp - I saved yet again another of your thoughtful rants, specifically your civil union/marriage rant from yesterday which I totally agree with. Get religion out of government; we are slowly but seemingly steadily moving in that direction and I want it to stop. NOW!!!
7. Congratulations danilo and keep the pictures coming. In this last series, I notice that Sauli needs to walk a little faster to keep up with Adam's long gorgeous legs.
