Just a FYI update..... Breaking news from NZ...6.15pm 21/05/11 *pinches self - Ummmmm...... yup, still here  *Fuck - trudges off to do dishes that I've been avoiding* Just 15 & 3/4 hrs to see if US ET time works any betterer  ;D Are you on Daylight Saving Time? Maybe that's it. I'm sure your righteous and all that. There's a house at the end of our street that always has "church" signs out front. When Prop 8 was up for a vote here, they felt it necessary to have not 1 but 2 HUGE "yes on (H)8 signs in their front yard. It made my blood boil every time I drove by. Soooo, my dh, adult son and I were thinking about taking beach chairs and some vino and parking ourselves across the street from their house at 6:00 tomorrow night and watch to see them ascending to heaven. I need to think of a couple of good signs to hold up.  |

Jamie - it was AWESOME to see Adam hit that stage in that get up and blow everyone away. Win or lose that night, S8 was his and still is. Thank the goddess for the internet. All the performances are out there for your viewing pleasure. I guess as a Pagan lesbian, God's going to be passing me over for the rapture today. Hi amw ~ I'm happy there are other lesbians here who love Adam too! He's appealing to everyone who experiences him!!!! We're all Adam fans! A community of people brought together, by Adam, that probably never would have been!  + me "not gone" too! |

Thanks for the "Beth" moment. I have to bring back that whole segment, because it WAS Adam owning the moment for all time. At the very beginning he says, "I have been doing this, performing, in front of audiences, since I was ten years old. This is what I KNOW. This is ME." That sums it up, doesn't it?
Then the guy in the flannel shirt appears, transformed, into this alien from the planet Fierce and, instead of a raunchy rock scream, he sings such tenderness. But wait..... then he transitions to front man for Kiss. Full swagger, full confidence, like he has been appearing with a world class rock band for years. And such a voice! This clip is definitely one for the ages.
