YUP - did the same thing, house is sparkling clean so just in case I get "raptured", they can't say I left a messy house - just like my mama said, "always wear a clean underwear" - LOL !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR, DEAR MANGOKAT! LOVE YOU GIRLFRIEND...HOPE YOU AND MR. MANGOKAT CELEBRATE IN A BIG WAY BEFORE YOU GET RAPTURED TOO ----SEE YOU AT 6 PM ON THE OTHER SIDE ...... Happy Birthday also to Lynne560 and WELCOME to all newbies - cannot keep up with all the birthdays and newcomers - it is all good! Of course, I NEED to do this. American Idol tweets, “This monday come see Carrie Underwood, David Cook, @jlo, @ryanseacrest & the top 13! 11am. H’wood & Vine. Idol creator Simon Fuller honored!” No Adam? David Cook is performing his version of the boot song -- his cover of DYFM. Kind of fitting considering apparently his lead single has been forgotten. This is the big push performance for his new album. This song is not on the album. I wonder if he will get to do something to promote the new album. From the Variety Season 8 article -- Kris on his new albumThis does not sound familiar to me -- except for the multi-genre part. And every artist wants to write/co-write all the songs. Overall, this does not sound like anything Adam would ever say. First of all, Adam would never split people by an arbitrary factor like age. Somehow, Kris can say something that has no bad intent and it can just come out wrong. Most of his fans, based on the three Kris performances I attended, are not under 25 -- they are women in their 30's and 40's. (Marking my list that I am not supposed to buy this album.  ) |

Q3 - is DC performing DYFM at this event in addition to the Idol finale? Is this cover on his album? How can this create sales for his album if it's a cover? Confused.
ETA: I see you did mention that the song is not on his album. If his performance of his single didn't result in a big bump I'm wondering how the cover can.

OH clearly I am still asleep. They are using the WOF Star presentation to promote the final. Why have someone at the promo event who will not be at the final/finale. What is the guess that with Carrie in town ...a gal duet is in the making for Wednesday night's AI finale! The tweet is also a PR push for those involved in the show. Adam may still show up on Hollywood and Vine (unless already booked in a studio, unless practising for Russia, unless packing, unless sleeping in with Sauli.) Pr wise Adam should show up as a sign of respect for Simon F ...crippity....Simon F showed up for his birthday party!! On the other hand...one never knows who 19 wants or has extended invites to ... but we would get more pics of ADAM! |
