REMINDER! Registration for Glastonbury 2016 tickets CLOSES on Sept 18th...so just a few days left.It costs nothing to register and does not guarantee tickets; there is also no obligation to apply for them. You have to upload a photo. BUT.....you have to pre-register to be given a number. You have to quote this number when applying for tickets. Therefore, if you don't register, you can't buy tickets at a later date. Although there are strong rumours of headliners, these are confirmed just as tickets go on sale - and often, AFTER tickets go on sale - just to make it as difficult as possible for those going for one particular reason!! If there is any chance of QAL being there (and they have indicated they might be up for it) and if you think you might like to go.... then register before 18 September to give yourself the option..  www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk/ |

OT...just to comment on adamrocks yesterday's post about Dr.May and Jimi Hendrix playing together)) Unfortunately that never happenned, but Jimmi was the main inspiration for Brian to play the guitar... he was a God for him, altho Brian told once that this admiration was always pushing him to work really really hard to excel one day his idol. Hendrix was also one of the reasons why Brian and Freddie became friends: both were huge fans and attended almost every show that Hendrix gave in London and elesewhere in England, together or separately. Brian also told about Freddie inviting him once at home and how they listened to Hendrix's recordings together, and Freddie was all over it and that's when it occured to Brian that Freddie is even more crazy about Jimi than him, and IS "crazy" in general. And since Freddie was an illutrator by education, he draw couple of portraits of Jimi Hendrix.  ***yep, that was a minute of a history)) now, may I just say, that I'm in love with Adam's poncho-cap look?)) mygawd..how can one be so damn cute..*licks the screen* don't actually understand the ones who doesn't like this black cap))) I certainly prefer it to some of the latest "editions" of swirl (did I just say it? wwooops). |
