Queen Adam Lambert Made for each other. Queen NEEDS a frontman with that incredible voice, power, range, versatility and emotion; a voice that can fill an arena and shake the rafters. They NEED a frontman with the charisma, energy, showmanship, bravado, confidence, and presence to fill an arena with his personality. There's no one else who could come close to what Adam does for them. Adam NEEDS Queen. He needs the exceptional compositions. The consummate musicians. The depth of the catalogue. The huge production where money is no object. The challenge for his voice. The challenge for his performance ability and his ability to reach an audience, charm them, engage them. Sorry, Max Martin, but Adam doesn't need to dial it back, to pull it in, to blend in with the other pop stars. He needs to soar; to fly. Adam's voice and personality are HUGE, and he needs a HUGE platform like Queen to freely express everything contained within. What a blessing that Queen and Adam have found each other. Knowing that it is probably only for a limited amount of time, makes it even more precious.  ITA, Caissie -- I've been saying for the past year that Queen is at their best with Adam (with apologies to Freddie Mercury fans), and Adam is at HIS best with Queen. I really, really, REALLY hope they keep this collaboration going!!!  |
