I have confirmation from a member of the Q+AL production crew. -- "Save Me" was 'F'ed up in Rio because Brian's guitar wasn't plugged in." Rufus saw Adam turn, realized the problem and raced across the stage to fix the problem. Not Adam, nothing to do with band monitors, Brian's guitar. The definitive answer! Don't you just love all the insider info Q3 provides us all the time? We are so lucky she is a Glambert and has devoted herself to this forum. Figured you were right on because the explosion of sound when Rufus did what he did, seemed pretty apparent! Good sleuthing!

Since Save Me is still on topic: From another continent... one of the best "Save Me" performances...IMO DVD worthy.

I was certain it was "not Adam's fault" and was equally certain it was some kind of technical issue. With a show this complex, stuff is gonna go awry -- it happened to Queen, and to Q+PR and to Q+AL. The music is complex and the sets are complex and they take on a ton of performance risk. PS Not too insider -- I just attended a lot of Q+AL concerts and this is mostly the same crew as the NA and EU tour legs.

That was the best ending yet...out on the walk ...electronica stuff....in with the crowd ....and the crowd gave him back with their energy. Better and better!
