Full concert?? Wait... It's not too far from California, is it? What's the ticket situation like at this point? "Full concert" can mean lots of things to Adam as well as to the radio folks. You never know. It's one of those recurring risks we as Glamberts take. We generally mean an hourish. But, it could be 20 to 30 to 45 minutes. You never know. lol Considering Live Nation is ticketing it, I would think a full concert. Not just a radio promo deal.

Wish we knew if anything is planned for NYE. I think this was about the time that Winstar was announced two years ago. ETA: Yes graciejane, the Live Nation affiliation makes it promising. He is listed as the only act. Altho we know a gal DJ is performing too and probably some radio station Halloween nonsense.

There are multiact radio concerts, like Wango Tango and Jingle Balls that also get ticketed by Live Nation, AEG, etc. If this is a multi act show, then the sets are shorter. If it is Adam alone with an opener, then it would be a "full" set. Like maybe an hour. Ticketmaster has it booked as "Adam Lambert" so I would definitely say full show! concerts.livenation.com/event/3A004F3523CF8658?crosssite=TM_US:1342835:475416?crosssite=TM_US:1342835:475416

I think this was about the time that Winstar was announced two years ago. I checked out the venue online and it seems quite nice. It is a redo of an older venue and the stage seems smallish, so I don't think we'll see the full lights/dancers/staging. A Morongo equivalent sounds about right. There will a DJ and a costume contest which could be fun. Maybe they will let the balcony judge like Statler and Waldorf on the Muppets.

OT but interesting. Susie Fierce SusieFierce 3m3 minutes ago Oh wow. This can revolutionize movie/TV licensing. Oops, sorry, Warner/Chappel. www.lamag.com/culturefiles/an-l-a-judge-has-thrown-out-copyright-claims-on-the-happy-birthday-song/ …
An L.A. Judge Rules in Favor of Hollywood During a Literal Birthday Suit
”Happy Birthday To You” may finally be public property September 23, 2015 Julia Herbst Film, Music 0 Comments Whoever picked “Happy Birthday to You” to be the b-day song of choice clearly felt no sympathy towards those of us who are not musically gifted. For generations, friends and family have been forced to participate in some truly horrific versions of the song before digging in to a well-deserved slice of cake. (That octave leap’s a real challenge, isn’t it, Justin Beiber?) The ditty may be the world’s most popular English-language song, but despite its universality, a long-standing copyright law forced filmmakers to keep the tune out of movies and TV shows. Until yesterday. U.S. District Judge George H. King gave an opinion Tuesday that the copyright on the song is not valid, which means we can potentially continue to take part in this hallowed tradition free from fear of being sued (except maybe for causing hearing damage). In his 43-page ruling, King explained that the copyright, originally obtained by the Clayton F. Summy Co., only covered specific piano arrangements of the song. This means that unless someone comes forward with a valid claim of ownership, Hollywood et al is now free to use the melody without paying royalties to Warner/Chappel Music (which assumed the copyright in 1998). Unfortunately for Warner/Chappel, this means a loss of $2 million in reported revenue. The classic song, written before 1893, shares the same melody as the lesser-known tune “Good Morning to All” written by sisters Mildred and Patty Hill. Since then, pretty much every famous singer has taken a crack at the song with varying degrees of success. Sorry Biebs, but we’d take Whitney Houston or Stevie Wonder’s happy birthday wishes over yours any day.
