Ale Netto @alexanetto 14m14 minutes ago Brazil needs a lot of support in the fight against homophobia. Let's do it all together. We need people like @adamlambert
Ale Netto @alexanetto 17m17 minutes ago @adamlambert made a lot of homophobic-tough-guys to sing along during @rockinrio 2015 - That was priceless, a prejudice break #FightForUs
He is right, I watched a couple of RiR twitter hashtags during the performance, it was brutal. I expected the usual push-back against Adam as frontman for Queen but there was way more homophobia than I expected. Sadz Really? Oh, that makes me so sad (and also mad). There is still a lot of work to be done all around the world to stop this homophobia.

Wow!!! Definitely looks like the audience was "loco". I don't think Q&A had a problem with it for even a second

Sadz Well if they were suppose to be Queen fans and really loved Freddie...how the f*uck can they have such disgusting minds when it comes to Adam's orientation? I don't call their loving Freddie as anything but superficial blabber...not true respect and apprecistion of who he was as a human being. So......they can sing along and enjoy Adam performing Freddie/Queen songs and then turn around and spew homophobic sh*t?! I just keep telling myself that these hurtful people will all have to look at who they 'really' are in the mirror some day and it won't be pretty! Sorry for my little rant.

Like the pic of the two guys who look like true slackers and the caption said Adam bixa bipolar. Looked it up and bixa is a slur. Progress is slow especially in changing personal sentiments and hearts. Laws only go so far. Shame

I am just feeling this odd sort of impulse to post how much I have loved these SA concerts. Audience really does make a difference. I loved being able to watch RIR in real time....thank goodness my computer held out long enough for that as last week the logic board decided it had had enough of life in this vale of tears and headed for where ever dead computers go at the end of their life span. I soooooo cannot afford this. I live on a pretty isolated island so I had to order online and now am anxiously awaiting delivery. Then I need to get the computer man to upload all my recovered data as my external drive died last month...kitty decided to see what happened when she booted it off the desk! ....anybody want a feisty little red persian...cheap...lol .... jk... Thank goddess for my ipad and Puffin browser or I would have gone quite bonkers. We have our National elections in a few short weeks...after that and with a new computer I should be bending y'all's ears way out of shape but till then...yeah QAL and Carry On Adam... The RIR stream was fantastic, wasn't it? I enjoyed it so much. Adam gave it his all (and then some), but good to see how he knows to take care of his voice and scale it down, if necessary. I'm glad your computer was still holding up for you for that special event in Rio. Wishing you the best with the new set-up!

I've been away a few days and am madly trying to catch up! I've really enjoyed the videos from yesterday's concert. Since, I missed whole threads, I was wondering if "Japanese Freddie" was at any of the concerts. He's been a presence at a lot of the QAL concerts in the past and I kind of miss him!
