I've been away a few days and am madly trying to catch up! I've really enjoyed the videos from yesterday's concert. Since, I missed whole threads, I was wondering if "Japanese Freddie" was at any of the concerts. He's been a presence at a lot of the QAL concerts in the past and I kind of miss him! Yes he was there. Oh, thanks for the info. It's funny how many people there are that I feel I have an affinity for whom I have never met because of Adam! |

LOL, first I had the same thoughts. But then I realized that it is possible he just wrote what he felt. Here is why: The first time I saw QAL in a full concert was of course the professional TV broadcast from Kiev. And my first reaction to Neil was "OMFG he is a beast on the bass!" But then I watched many dozens of YT videos from NA, Asia, OS, NZ, Europe and even went to one live show in Vancouver, and I never really heard the bass the same way. Not even on the RiR mix. Until the professional radio stream from BA where I finally HEARD the bass and all the wonderful melodic lines John Deacon wrote and Neil played, but we barely heard in the mix / live recording / live experience. So it is all in the mix. In fact, the Winnipeg official recording of SCC was TOO heavy on the bass and it wasn't pleasant either... |

We have no idea if Q+AL will play Glastonbury 2016. And I think it is unlikely because Adam should be on tour. BUT IT COULD HAPPEN. And tickets go on sale this week.
